iguapops420ParticipantHaven’t seen anyone talking about this guy. He was an underachiever at UCLA but seems to have really flourished this year in Europe. Hadn’t been keeping an eye on him, but caught some footage recently. Dude looks really good. Skills level looks strong, body is looking good, and the defense has been quite good. Not having to go to class and just training seems to have paid off big.

ChoppyParticipantHe’s definitely taken an interesting path. At UCLA he wasn’t getting the minutes he wanted and believed he was going to be playing out of position. Now, some might see his decision to leave UCLA as pouting – they won’t do what I want so I’m leaving. Others might see it as a calculated decision to increase his draft stock as playing off the bench and out of position wasn’t playing to his strengths. Either way, it seems to have worked out for him as he’s getting a little bit of draft buzz recently. I think interviews and workouts will be key for teams that are looking to draft Bolden to ultimately decide his draft position.

iguapops420ParticipantJonah definitely wasn’t used right at UCLA. Screens and spot ups. Seemed thats all they wanted from him. He’s definitely had a chance to expand his offensive game. His defense has gotten much better too. Better IQ. Guys that big don’t always move their feet like he does. It’s rare. Personally if his interviews pan out well, I’d abdolutely take him first round. Seems to be the perfect modern day stretch 4. Like you said though, it’s all about perception.

The GoatParticipantHis dad Bruce had a long career in Australia and just like Ben Simmons, Jonah was brought up around basketball and knows what it takes to be a professional athlete. I agree with the comments here, I have him going late first round in my mock. I have the Lakers taking him but I dont think he will fall past San Antonio considering their track record with bigs from Europe and long standing involvement of Australian players and coaches under Pop, going way back to Andrew Gaze, Brett Brown, Aron Baynes, Patty Mills.. but again, you never know who will be left on the board.

OhCanada-ParticipantI highly doubt he falls past Milwaukee. They love taking players like this that are unproven but have high upside. Hes number 1 on my Raptors wishlist ahead of even Semi Ojeyele.

iguapops420ParticipantHe and Jonathan Jeanne are my two favorite picks at 28 for the Lakers. I was really big on Semi Ojeleye. Dude has everything you want out of a 4, but I really don’t like that standing reach. Tbh, this draft is going to have legit tale t up until the mid 40s IMO. And even then you could get some quality players with a single NBA level translatable skill like Luke Kornet, Aleksander Vezenkov,Amidah Brima,.Sterling Brown, etc etc.
