     Congratulations to John Wall who has signed a $170 million 4 year extension to kick in from 2019. John will be nearly 29 when the deal kicks in so effectively it will be his mega deal.

    Interestingly it carries a 15% trade kicker, which would push deal up to around $192 million over 4 years. I don’t quite see how a big trade kicker could be put on as teams would be prepared to pay Wall or Harden this extra money to sign the super max. Also I’d assume the super max is in effect taking into consideration what the cap will be in two years time as the deals that Harden and Wall have signed are worth more than the max Steph Curry has signed this year.

    Washington have now got the core trio of Wall, Beal and Otto Porter tied up long term but it will eat up a load of their cap space over the next 4 to 6 years.

       What a lame response. I could see if he beat up a woman, ran a dog fighting operation, or caught selling drugs, but to bring that up in a response to him finally getting the money he derserves is lazy, egostistical, and corny.

            It was a very popular, now deleted, April’s fools forum topic on this site. It quickly turned into a running joke and was often mentioned even after the mods deleted it. You can google "John Wall Fails Drug Test NBAdraft.net" for more information. 

            Just a reference for the veteran users here, I thought someone had to do it for nostalgia’s sake.
