Im going to say Wall will get about 22 points a game and he’ll average about 9 assists.  Before I make the determination on wins I need to see who the Wiz draft and what moves they make before the season.

He’s got 5 chuckers in Young, Crawford, Lewis, Blatche and Mcgee next to him, and they may draft another scoring option like Williams if they get lucky…

His 8.3 apg as a rookie to me is overwhelming impressive when you consider the fact that guys like Crawford, Nick Young, Blatche, Mcgee never take open shots, they always hold the ball and try to make one on one moves. I can’t imagine his ceiling for apg when he actually has teammates with a semi-decent basketball IQ. Although at Kentucky we always knew he had potential to be a great passer with his record16 assist game.

    I’ll say 19 ppg, 10 apg, 5 rpg, 2 spg, and 0.6 bpg.

He put up better nuumbers than guys like Rose, Paul, Williams, Westbrook, and Rondo did in their rookie seasons.

Wall has said that the main thing he needs to work on this offseason is his jumpshot. He also said he wants to add a floater to his game. With an improved jumpshot and floater, I can easily see him average 3 more ppg, and he’ll be nearly unguardable.

He averaged 8.3 apg with a mediocre/raw supporting cast. He was averaging 9 earlier in the year, but his assists went down slightly when so many scorers/shooters got injured. I expect many of his teammates to improve next season, which will up his assists totals.

He’s a great rebounder from the PG spot. He’s athletic, long, and aggressive enough to grab a lot of boards. I can see him getting many triple doubles in his career.

He was leading the league in steals earlier in the year, but he average kind of dipped when the injuries occured. He plays the passing lanes very well, and has great anticipation skills. If he stays healthy, I can see him averaging 2 spg.

As for the blocks, you won’t rally expect you PG to get blocks, but Wall is already one of the best shot-blocking guards in the league. He’s athletic, and his length really helps.

He’ll work on his jumper but to be honest, his jumper isn’t as broke as how Rose or Westbrook was. I compare him to those two because he will be in that converstaon by next year as whose the better PG. If Im not mistaken, Wall did make 34 three pointers so I think he might double that come next season.

Adding a floater would be an added plus but I hope he also works on finishing on lay-ups as well. He reminds me a lot of Westbrook when he doesn’t finish contested lay-ups. Also, I would like to see him dunk on some fools more often because he didn’t to that much in his rookie season (but thats just an entertainment value that I like, even though its not a big deal lol)

I’d say 19 ppg 9.5 assists, 5 rebounds, 2 steals 1 block, 45% FG, 33% 3PT, and 80% FT AND he will make it as a back up on the All-Star game. The Wizards, will probably be an 8th seed (if they draft a guy like Williams or Kanter and get some pieces through free agency or trades)

Yeah. Maybe my expectations were too high for him, but I was expecting like 1-2 alley oops per game from him this season the way I saw him yamming on people in high school. Maybe it’s because he wasn’t healthy.

Wall will need to work on his jumper a great deal and just be more consistent. He can be 20pt 10ast guy, but it will be tough on an undisciplined team. Wall is a good athlete but I think his athleticism particularly his leaping ability and explosiveness are overrated. He is not an elite athlete like Rose or Westbook. Truth be told he may not be that much more athletic than Jeff Teague.

^ Are you kidding me Wall’s athleticism is overrated? Wall is one of the fastest straight line end to end ballhandlers in the league. Just because he doesn’t dunk as much doesn’t mean he’s not as explosive as those guys. Wall had a 39 inch vert at the combine, that’s better than Westbrook’s vertical leap. We’ve seen Wall’s highlight dunks even going back to high school, he is a freak athlete and his speed is truly special.

I think he was nursing a injury for most of the year.  Also if Wall gets more reliable scorers he should never average less than 9 assists so I see his average at above 10.  Also 18 to 20 points should not be that hard for Wall even with chuckers on his team because he will have the green light to score when he wants and if he gets a better jumper, he should be able to get to the basket like Rose has been doing.

Not at athletic at Rose or Westbrook?  I think he’s just as athletic as either of them.

If you think he’s not in that conversation, you didn’t watch enough Wizards games this year (although even as a Washington fan, I don’t blame you).

Like a couple of the guys mentioned, he was semi-hurt the majority of the season and even at that, he’s still one of the fastest guys I have ever seen going coast to coast.

Every announcer I heard this year, was baffled by how fast this kid is, even with the ball.  Guess you just have to be there in person to get it.

The guy can get the ball with 4 seconds left on the clock and take it coast to coast, for a layup.  If that’s not explosive enough for you, then I don’t know what would be.

I wouldn’t say Wall had a better rookie year then Paul and Rose was much more efficient then he Wall was as a rookie. Next year I think Wall goes for about 19 and 9-10. I think he will be a top 5 pg by his third season.

flip saunders has said tht wall has 1-2 inches since he was drafted, this will make him more of a mismatch. And if he improves on his jumpshot, he could have another advantage on the opposition as he could jus shoot over smaller point guards

2 inches? That’s crazy. That would put him at 6’6 in shoes.

I think he said that had almost grown an inch, and by the time he is fully grown he’ll could be 6’6.

    TBH i don’t believe this. But I could imagine a 6’5 Wall.
