Jimmer

Currently has 15 points in 6 minutes of play against the lakers. From the last time I saw him, he looks a lot more poised and able to run the team (obviously in short bursts). I know he's dreadful on D but why are they not playing him more minutes when they literally have one shooter on the court most times.. if that.

Anyways, seeing flashes of the old jimmer got me a little excited haha. Anyone know how he's been so far this year?

Well Eddie House helped some

Well Eddie House helped some really good teams, so I guess that's alright. As a BYU student and Jimmer fan I was hoping he could become a Kirk Hinrich type player.

Well...

To answer your question about how Jimmer has done so far this year. Jimmer looked terrible in the summer league, he made bad decisions and had a plethora of missed passes and dropped defensive assignments, I would have traded him just to give Cousins more leg room on the plane. However, since preseason and the regular season have started he has been far superior to what I was watching a few months ago. Jimmer is passing the ball more intelligently, finding himself in good position to rebound shots outside of the paint, he is being more selective and clever when taking shots for himself, and he is making more effective efforts on defense than last year (which was not all that hard to improve upon). Needless to say that I think Jimmer is coming along at a pace I thought impossible after watching him this summer, every game I watch I see a bit of improvement from him. He, in my mind, has gone from destined for the D league and overseas to being a descent backup in the NBA in two or three years. Obviously this could change if his play reverts, but I have a good feeling about his future for the first time since last November.

I don't think he will see

I don't think he will see that growth with the Kings though unless they actually plan on trading Tyreke

Jimmer

He's been proving people wrong his whole life. He will be an outstanding NBA player. The whole King's team said he was their best player in training camp.

I think Jimmer is not used right

He has way more handle than Eddie House ever had. He needs to dominate the ball more but on that team it wont happen. He is in a bad situation. I still think Jimmer can light it up if he is allowed to play his game more.

Jimmer is currently #14 in

Jimmer is currently #14 in 3p% and would be #5 in fg% and #1 in ft% if he had enough attempts. He is the best shooter on the planet.
