HadzialijagicParticipantI love this kids potential. If he puts in the work he can be a top defender in the league. Offensively i like him too his length will make him tough too stop. I like him as a smaller Kevin Durant. I know i might be exaggerating him but this kid has game.

BKKnicksfanParticipantSmaller Kevin Durant? Has he scored at that level at any point this season? That’s a huge exaggeration my friend. I compared him to Richard Hamilton more then Kevin Durant.

HadzialijagicParticipantIm not saying he is going to be im just saying that if he reaches his full potential thats what he can be

Ricky BobbyParticipantI can’t believe Georgia Tech let him get out of the state of Ga. This kid was way underrated coming in to college. I see him as a more athletic Ben Gordon.

BKKnicksfanParticipantEven if he reaches his full potential, Durant’s not it man.

B FreeParticipantI think he reminds me of a smaller Batum.

PortugooseParticipantKevin Martin.

The lake show2LOL.. whats up with people comparing everyone to Kevin Durant these days. How about compare him to a NBA player who is good but not a allstar because thats what i think this kids ceiing is. He’s good but ive seen many other freshmen play better and have better season’s then he has had
0 - Posted on: Mon, 04/04/2011 - 12:13pm #517911
4th dimensionHe plays like Kerry Kittles to me, without the high socks.

SwatLakeCityParticipantYeah I like him too. Can’t wait to see what he will do next year.
0 - Posted on: Mon, 04/04/2011 - 1:36pm #517958
ilike.panochasParticipantI hate to make this comparison because he’s not the caliber of the shooter YET, but I see a bit of Reggie Miller in Lamb. Like Reggie, Lamb scores away from the ball and has the same long slender frame.
0 - Posted on: Mon, 04/04/2011 - 1:46pm #517965
kanyedabestParticipantKevin Durant really? KD is a top 3 player on planet earth….. are you saying lamb can one day be a top 3 player?? notta chance

TeamShowtimeLakersParticipantchris douglas roberts still has potential to surprise alot of ppl…he just has to be more consistent
0 - Posted on: Mon, 04/04/2011 - 1:55pm #517975
Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantYeah, he most definitely has all the tools to become a good scorer in this league. Possibly a 6th Man of the Year some day. But I’m comparing him to the CDR of right now. I should have made it clear in the first post though.

TooNice4TVParticipantHe definitely reminds me of a smoother Rip Hamilton. His game is so easy, if you watched his drives to the bucket this tournament, it looks so smooth with good body control. He’s already running the screens at the college level and he is succeeding in it which makes Kemba look like that much of a leader setting him up. I also see a bit of ray allen cause he’s a quiet player much like allen. Love his game so far in his first year. It should be exciting for him to take over as the leader with Kemba leaving for the league

TeamShowtimeLakersParticipanttongue out like 23…..i see what your saying about comparing lamb to the douglas of right now….good comparison….and i also like your way of thinking talking about my mans CDR as a potential 6th man of the year candiate because he can ball.
0 - Posted on: Mon, 04/04/2011 - 5:27pm #518080
HadzialijagicParticipantOk guys i know i might be exaggerating comparing him to a smaller Kevin Durant but Kevin Durant minus 5-6 inches is not at all the same player.
0 - Posted on: Tue, 04/05/2011 - 3:41am #518169
JoeWolf1I can’t really think of a guy that really reminds me of him. I think the kid is special, a lot of you are comparing him to other tall skinny swingmen, but he’s got serious defensive potential and to compare him to Durant, Kevin Martin or Reggie Miller? It’s just because he’s tall and skinny. Barring injury, in a few years I think Lamb is a star in the NBA on the offensive and defensive end.

flyakkParticipantYou guys kill me somestimes it seems as if yall basketball careers finished very early everytime i come on this site you guys state facts as if you were a basetball guru or something..theres so much hate in the air..so what if Jagic things he is a smaller kevin durant(minus 6 inches what kind of player would durant have been) let him voice his opinion..listen jus wait and see, you never know what he is going to be capable of a 6’5 guard with a 7” wing span and he’s a freshman you never know what happens he’s going to be much better and a nightmare to guard/…shove all those comparrisons in the gutter because he reminds me of none of those players this guy is going to play like Jeremy Lamb…JOEWOLF couldn’t of said it any better this kid is really special and being able to play in the championship game and win gives him so much confidence leading into next season.. Lamb will be a matchup nightmare everynight either on the defensive or offensive and if I’m a NBA team on the rise I’m looking for this guy to fill my 2 guard spot..Lamb will be a steal for anyteam and he’s going to shock alot just like Landry Fields….I beleive he will have an great NBA carreer considering that there are really good 2guards in the league but not to many great ones ..probally not even a handfull..Just keep in mind this guy has a 7” wingspan and he has considerable handle to run the floor at times…he has a sweet jumpshot that is only going to get better…once commited to defense he will frustrate alot of offenses….has a nice touch around the basket and knows where to pick his spots..and he can dish the ball to find his teamates..with that being said why cant this guy exceed at the NBA level anything is possible once he works hard and get better every day then his path will widen given him opportunity..i would just say he needs to get more stronger and he needs to learn to when to dominate and how to lead a team..mind you this is a freshman with kemba most likely leaving this year we will see Jeremy Lamb.. and oh yea and since you people love to compare tell me who you compared kevin durant to when he was at texas ..what about wade at marquette..what about anthony at syracuse what about dwight howard and what about eric gordon what about even kobe bryant..see these guys are themselve on the court but I’m 100 percent sure when they were in a mock draft nba comparrison these guys fooled alot of critics…I just want to acknowledge players for being themselve having there own style of play rather than putting them down and feeling like a fool when this player proves you wrong..any way alot of credit for the thoughts of JOE WOLF, TOUNGE OUT LIKE 23 AND HAZIALIJAGIC…and alot of credit to Uconn watching them all season has been great to see that was really good for college basketball and player morales and congrats to Jeremy Lamb who played like champions do when the game is on the line.. If you think Lamb’s wingspan of 7′ is great.. let me break this news to you..
It’s actually 7’4"!! Which is flat out RIDICULOUS

butidonthavemoneyThere’s just no way his arms are that long. ESPN lists Henson’s wingspan at 7’4". Does Jeremy Lamb have the same sized wingspan as John Henson? Really?
If he does, it’s pathetic that he only averaged 4.5 rebounds, .9 steals and .6 blocks a game.
0 - Posted on: Tue, 04/05/2011 - 9:50am #518321
butidonthavemoneyESPN lists Jeremy Lamb’s wingspan at 7’0". Which sounds about right.
0 - Posted on: Tue, 04/05/2011 - 10:43am #518343
Ricky BobbyParticipantJeremy Lamb having a 7’0 wingspan is incredible for a guy who is 6’5. He’s probably not done growing yet either. He’ll probably max out around 6’6.5. Kid is only 18. His potential is through the roof.
0 - Posted on: Tue, 04/05/2011 - 10:49am #518345
BasketballGuru24ParticipantReminds me of Sam Young when he was in pittsburgh. Sam young was a potential lottery pick, but his age drove away teams from drafting him earliar. They both aren’t great ball handlers, have nice but awkward shooting strokes, good athletes.
0 - Posted on: Tue, 04/05/2011 - 11:22am #518365
Dale WorthingtonParticipantHow long is Doron Lamb’s wingspan then?
0 - Posted on: Tue, 04/05/2011 - 11:43am #518376
butidonthavemoneyWho the hell knows? ESPN says Doran Lamb has a 7’3" wingspan, but I don’t buy that at all. I think you posted a link to another ESPN article that said Jeremy Lamb had a 7’4" wingspan.
I don’t know what to think.
0 - Posted on: Tue, 04/05/2011 - 11:46am #518377
HaleParticipantJeremy Lamb looks like he 6’7-6’8. That wingspan is like an optical illusion.
0 - Posted on: Tue, 04/05/2011 - 1:03pm #518418
Dale WorthingtonParticipantYup. That ESPN link had J. Lamb at 7’4 and D. Lamb at 7’3.
No way Jeremy only has one inch on Doron…
0- Posted on: Tue, 04/05/2011 - 1:13pm #518428
OnionsParticipantAnd frankly, I don’t see how either of them have that long a wingspan.
The 7 feet one seems about right, and still very impressive for a guy his height,
