Does anyone think that he will be making a huge mistake declaring for the draft? He’s too raw for the NBA right now and probably would be out of the league at end of rookie contract. The fact that he played 34 minutes against Dayton and made no impact shocked me. I think he’s another season from even being a capable role player in the league.

I’m not sure him coming back will prove anything to scouts. If he came back to put up slightly better numbers his stock will only drop even more, and will be seen as someone with less potential being junior too.

What if he comes back with a jump shot and better FT% and goes out and average 17 and 10?  Sounds like a lottery pick to me next year.  I would rather him have a legit chance at having a NBA career than being in Europe within 3 years. Plus his pops was in the league so money shouldn’t be an issue.

I agree with what you are saying but his pops money isn’t his money.

         That’s a really big if.

He has had two years wth plenty of opportunity to show everyone. If his phyical profile wasn’t so great he wouldn’t be drafted at all.

How good of a defender is Grant ? Can his jumper improve ? I don’t see him take shots, and can’t tell with the system he is in as a defender.

Phyically he looks very similar to Kawhi Leonard, but even more gifted maybe with his length, height and muscle defination.

He took a lot of jumpers this year and he was normaly off on anything that wasn’t a put back dunk or around the rim.

he SHOULD leave right now. Ennis and Fair are gone. teams are going to be eyeing him more now and he’s going to see more attention. he wont be fed easy buckets by Ennis anymore. with his raw skill set, he WILL struggle being ‘ the man’ next year.

i dont like him as a NBA prospect. he’s a tweener. too thin and undersized(6’8) to play the 4, no perimeter game to play the 3.

He has all the tools to be an elite defender at onthe next level but we really don’t really know since he was playing in the Syracuse Zone. He has nothing that impresses me offensively but Trevor Ariza was the same coming out of UCLA. He needs to go now or he’d suffer a worse drop than GR3 and McAdoo.

I think GR3 showed during the NCAA what he is capable off, showing off not only his inside game, but also his outside game (especially against the Vols). He will get picked in a decent range (unlike McAdoo, who is in a horrible position right now).

Remains me of Darius Miles, I don’t think he should stay because like you mentioned he doesn’t have outher options so teams will key on him.
