Coaches can stunt your career...
look...I know Jennings is still salty about the Knicks situation...
If Jennings would have played in D'Antoni's system...he would have averaged 11-12 assists a game..an All Star reserve..not just because of Melo and Amare(doesnt hurt), but because his vision was that good. I dont know if it still is..but IT WAS!
Scott Skiles has no brain for offense and is killing his career...
whats some other players ya'll think are getting hurt on their current teams?
I Stopped Reading after you said Brandon Jennings would average 12 assists..
You talking about the guy with 1 of the lowest assist rates among all starting point guards?
But i do agree with you saying Jennings could've padded his stats playing with D'Antonio...He was working out like crazy doing the summer playing in pickup games with everyone..Let's see if he's gotten better?
I watched every game of his rookie year...and half a season of 2nd year...they run hardly no plays...and dont play pick n roll...and their roster is horrible...im not making statements for shock value...Bucks are that bad...with S.Jax now...aint gonna get no better...
I don't understand how you think it's possible for a 21 year old PG going into his 3rd year to lose court vision...Like players lose athleticism but court vision?
Anyways Jennings does have amazing court vision and passing ability and if you ever saw him play in an all star game you know what I mean. He wants to be a pass first PG but the Bucks offense is terrible and they really don't have any other options on the team so he has to gun. If Jennings played on the Knicks this year he could average 9-10 apg. I dunno about 11-12 because the Knicks don't have that many pure shooters and 12 apg for a year is hall of fame numbers.
And I don't understand how Scott Skiles who was a PG and one of the best passing PG's in the league is so bad coaching offense.
Size and skill can win championships, but sometimes the difference between a ring and an also-run is a touch of athleticism.
