 Somebody always step up during the playoff  and i really feel like jeff teague going to step up becuase he got something to prove and this series can get him off the bench for next year. MARK MY WORDS!!!!!

 The Hawks probably will not even give him that many minutes IMO. I think they will just let Johnson and Crawford handle the majority of the point guard duties, because Teague failed miserably when he was given opportunities during the regular season- on both ends of the floor. Based on Teague’s perfomance, I would almost rather let Damien Wilkins start……. The Hawks are guard-starved right now with Hinrich out. Jamal Crawford can be a decent defender when he is "into it," and I think he might be who they have to throw at Rose in this series with Hinrich out.

sure he can play on the offensive side of the ball, but its no secret that teague is a lean kid and derrick rose is built like an F350…expect a lot of post-ups from rose and blow-bys met by hard fouls at the rim which will = a lot of free throws shot by rose

People make some silly comments. Teague did not fail miserably when given chances during the regular season. He actually excel when given minutes. I doubt he will be Nash, but even Nash could not do anything with the few minutes Teague has been giving in his career. Nash never really starting getting it until his 5th year in the league and he was getting more minutes than Teague has ever seen. Only one year did Nash average less than 20 minutes and he gave you 3 pts and 2 asts in 10 minutes. Jeff Teague averaged 10 minutes last year and gave you 3.2 pts and 1.7 ast. Dude simply needs to play and in the 7  games he started this year he averaged 8.4 pts and 3.2 asts. In his 3rd year Steve Nash was playing 31 minutes a game giving you 7.9 pts and 5.5 assists and Nash has never given what Teague can give on defense. I can’t believe people are dogging Teague. With all that said yes Rose will win the matchup but Rose ate Hinrich alive 2 of the 3 games they played. Rose was going to get his anyway. The Hawks probably want win but Teague will not be the reason why they lose.

Teague did not fail miserably when given minutes, he has put up good stat lines this year 24pts 5 stls 6 rbs 3 assist against portland, 21 2 and 3 against Chicago and when he plays 15 minutes or more Teague usually gets about 2-3 steals per game, so don’t talk what you don’t know.

Teague is no Rose, yes I get that, but by no means he is no slouch, he is fast and quick and can score and if he is playing with confidence he will produce.

And another thing I hate, you guys say he will get killed by Rose….WHO THA HELL DOESN’T? Honestly? Who can stay infront of a 6-3 190 pound guard that has a allen iverson first step, speed, quickness and a 40 inch vert? NOBODY that’s why he is likely the MVP because he dominates, so don’t just put Teague out there like he sucks, because Nobody can stay in front of Rose.
