This is an idea of trade, i'd like you to tell me what u think about it
Sacramento Kings get:
Utah 2014 protected (likely lottery protected) 1st round pick
Utah Jazz get:
Kings 2013 2nd rounder
With the hypothesis that both Millsap and Jefferson resigns, they give up on future phenom Derrick Favors to upgrade their guard position which is i think their weakest point, they obtain Thomas Robinson who will have much time to reach his full potential with Al and Millsap in front of him while the Kings getting Favors, a guy with the same experience as Cousins and it's legitimate to think that both will explode to superstar level in approximatively the same time (likely next or in a couple of season). Evans takes over at PG for Jazz which make a starting five composed of :
SF- Caroll/J.Evans/Garcia (depends of what the coach thinks what should be the best coming off the bench)
second unit with Mo Williams/Foye/T-Rob/Kanter
That let's time for Kanter and T-Rob to reach their full potential under the two big guys and i honestly think T-Rob has really a whole lot of more chance to developp with them than with a guy like Cousins who severly lack of maturity. While Evans learns how to make a better shoot-selection with 3 point threat like Foye and a one year or two older Hayward and good scorer like Al/Millsap. In two years, the Jazz looks like a legitimate threat in the West.
For the Kings that make sense because what Favors will be in a year or two is what they are dreaming T-Rob could become a day (and imo in their prime i'll take Favors anyday over Robinson).
Their starting five would look like:
coming off the bench: J.Thompson/Thornton/I.Thomas and maybe Fredette
I'm taking the point that the Kings are likely giving up on this season (lottery picking IMO) and taking a shot at the guard position with Smart/McCollum or maybe Shabazz or McLemore if they pick higher.
Thanks for peeps who reads everything, in advance i gotta feel sorry for the numerous language errors i make, english is not my native-language and i never put a feet in the US. I will be very pleased, if someone has a bit of time to lose helping in my english progress by correcting some of my language mistake that really hurts the understanding but that's not the primary subject, it's only bonus.
What y'all think of this trade ?
Considering salary cap problems for Jazz, i also take the hypothesis that they will not resign Mo and Garcia will accept to take a paycut in two years.
Tell me why would Utah trade away future star Derrick favors when Millsap and Jefferson might leave after the season?
"With the hypothesis that both Millsap and Jefferson resigns, they give up on future phenom Derrick Favors to upgrade their guard position"
Like i said this begin with this hypothesis, maybe with a promise from both player that the Jazz will have a chance to resign them and that they haven't already take the decision of leaving. I don't see them as the kind of player of breaking this promise even if it doesn't mean that they will be 100% Utah Jazz player next year, but try to think for them: Don't you think the Jazz got more chance to resign them if Favors moves away ? Both player will not be scaried of being benched because Favors explode, and the fact that they prefer to see a good promising young guard instead of a future phenom that will likely cut minutes (and maybe their spot) from them ?
For starters when were talking about sports nobody is ever going to make a hypothesis, they're making an assumption instead. And thinking that Both Milsap and Big Al resign with Favors and Kanter there is silly unless they make a trade but Favors is probably the least likely out of all of their bigs to get trAded.
My hypothesis says you're a dumbass
The Jazz would love to trade away their PF of the future that they traded Deron Williams to get for a PG/SG/SF that can't shoot and a homeless man's millsap.......Yea, not really.
they are letting favors ripe, remember he is still young and playing with Al jefferson and paul millsap could help him,
tyreke evans value lately has been declining, well i blame the organization for that, they have been cheap, butt tyreke's skill set is the bomb, with the combination of his quickness and height,
Yes i know i shouldnt take hypothesis about starters, but do you really think that both Jefferson and Millsap are going to resign with Favors and Kanter behind them ? It's likely that one of them will leave via free agency, and Utah barely convince huge free agent signings, so by trading Favors it's their only way to not lose a potential huge asset for their road to championship, and nothing say that Favors will live a day to expectations even if i'll take him anyday over (prime) T-Rob.
Utah could trade Jefferson or Millsap on deadline day to a team who could not sign them via FA and receive first round picks back in a package. Jefferson a 20/10 guy on his day coming up to 28 years old is a proven big man who teams would like if Utah traded him to a team they knew he might resign for they would get a nice package back. There are teams who now cannot do S and T's who would surely like a shot at Millsap or Jefferson.
I dont c the point in the trade. W hat does it do for either team. To me, no one gets better as far as winning the ultimate prize so it makes no sense to me. Haha evans milsap and jefferson as the future for the jazz good luck out west with that squad
The point is that instead of gambling with Favors, they gamble on Tyreke and develop T-Rob with Kanter under the two starters who will much likely resign if Favors is out of the equation.
And for the Kings, they take the gamble on Favors to pair with Cousins to be the most dominant force for the 10 years to come. Adding a 1st rounder with the aim to improve their bench or likely to be an asset if they feel they can be relevant now. They want to trade Tyreke.
That's the way I see it but i'm certainly wrongful, my bad.
@The Showoff, you need love aren't ya ? what's the point with being a cyber thug ?
@SexualFavors, yes maybe Evans can't shoot 3's but by the end of his career pretty sure i will be a good one, he needs to train with better ambiance and stop forcing wrong shoots because no one can/want (?) to take them at Sacramento. He has a good FG% for a young guard, I don't forgot his rookie year because of his awful sophomore season. The talent is here, let's scratch !
