I just wanted this post his last two games. Celtics fans are really pizz me off with the hate on this pick. The criticism I keep seeing is all he does is put his head down and drive to the rim. I need to see him do more than that. He plays defense at a high level, rebounds at high level for a guard, shown he can dribble the ball pretty well at his age, and is showing he can shoot. I don’t get these stupid fans Lebron gets criticism when he doesn’t take it to the rim choosing instead to take jumpers, but Brown gets criticised for opposite.

The site isn’t letting me post the other video no matter how many times I do the verification code.

I love his ability to get to the rim.  Last year only IT was able to get there consistently to collapse the defense.  Brown has also been racking up free throw attempts which the Celtics haven’t had in quite awhile.  His handle can be too loose but he’s shown creativity getting to the rim with crossovers, spin moves, eurosteps, etc.

I got no hate on Brown I’m one of the guys on this site that really believes in his abilities. But he really does put his head down when he drives. Kinda like Corey Maggette did. They will draw a lot of fouls but miss a ton of open guys in the process. I predict a lot of charging calls for Brown in the season but its way better than being passive.

i dont got hate on brown, but ive been saying all along kriss dunn was easily the third best prospect so any criticism i have towards the celtics is that they passed up on the better prospect

I can concede Dunn could be the better pick, but Dunn is 3yrs older than Brown. So Brown will get better how much idk when he is 22 like Dunn. A lot of Celtics fans are also saying they should have taken Buddy instead just blows my mind. My bad about all the typos. I should have proof read my post before posting it.

I trashed him plenty…but hes going alright. I dont know how his style will fit into a system but he should do the job on defense and draw fouls at the very least.

Could be the right pick for the Cs after all.

I always wanted to give him a chance. I like building through draft picks. So I figured he may be the start of something a few years from now. I’m patient unlike most Boston fans who think we should win next year.

I think he game transfers very well. I base this on watching summer league. He gets to the basket really well. The NBA is more spread out so I think he will fit really well. He just has to learn to finish a little better but that will come later once he gets more comfortable.

Brown will have the challenge of taking his rookie lumps on a team that is expected to win, which may impact his playing time but also hold him accountable.

I do worry that in the regular season (or playoffs) opposing coaching staffs will game plan how to handle his head-down drives to the basket and exploit it.

And Horford. Jaylen will hurt teams driving and by season end the jumper 2.
