ag-pennypackerParticipantJavale McGee is going off against the Pistons tonight. He’s got 19 points and 11 boards through 3 quarters. He’s been terrific through his last 4 games and for the most part he looks a lot better this season.

CodySLCParticipantHe needs to get a little stonger. But he can be a difference maker for the Wizards. He’s a freak athlete and a great shot blocker also. Hopefully he can become more than just a Tyson Chandler type player. I could see him putting up 14, 11 and 3.5 easy in the next year or two.

WizardofOzParticipantGilbert caused the Wizards the game in OT. He had some costly turnovers, especially the one where he was trying to push the ball up the court and threw it to Nick Young and the ball went out of bounds instead of doing the right hing which would have been to slow it down and run the offense or call a timeout to set up a play. I think that Gil got tired though. His legs aren’t ready for the amount of minutes he got because he is still coming off that injury.
Javale is growing up. This is his best game of the season. He’s not perfect — he still gets beat on the glass, and made a couple silly mistakes, but he’s definitely doing a better job of being in position. That said, he really got worked on the defensive boards in the fourth quarter. But, he is hustling like a MANIAC! He’s only 22, and he’ll keep getting better.
Nick Young has been playing well as of late also. Flip Saunders needs to find a way to get N1 minutes when John Wall comes back.

BiggysmallsParticipantHow did he get that 19 points? Were there actually points that he got himself, or were they just dunks that he was able to get because of his crazy athleticism on a team with no men?
