Okay, after watching every one of his games this year, I have a few things to say/ask.

First: Hes leading the league in 3 pointers made, with 55.  Not to mention hes shooting at a 48% clip. Not bad.

Second: Averaging 21.2 points a game, and that Includes about a 5 game slump where he was averaging about 11.

Third: He has a variety of ways and moves that he uses to score, he obviously can shoot the three ball, good post up option, mid range game is phenominal, and he is consistent.

Fourth:  He is in the final year of his contract, and he wants to resign the suns, but i dont know if the suns are seriously looking to lock him up

with that being said, should they trade him or keep him.  If trade him, then to who and what does he command in return for the suns?

Trade him. There are tons of teams that could use his services IMO

You can probably get a 1st rounder for him plus a nice piece back

Maybe to Orlando for a Marcin Gortat and a pick?  They need someone who can rebound and defend that plays center.  if not then they could trade him maybe to Atlanta for maybe a Jamal Crawford+ a pick?(with robin coming back too..)

I think he could be huge for the Pacers. Dunleavy is one of the weaker starting shooting guards in the league (I don’t think they see Rush as a starter) and the Pacers are thinking that they might be able to score a top-6 seed in the East, and to me Collison/J Rich/Granger sounds better to me at the pg-sf positions. Then you’ve got Hibbert down low. They have a lot of solid young talent to develop anyways so I think a first round pick would be expendable, and they could throw in Rush or Hansbrough.

As a Suns fan, I ask you: I think the Suns should move Nash, what do you think?

I think Suns are going to be looking to rebuild soon. A trade doesn’t make much sense in my opinion, why give up one of your best players when you can keep the 1 Yr-Contract and either resign him(potentially for less) or let it expire and spend it elsewhere.

On a side note I’ve always been a huge J-Rich fan, deffinitely one of my favorite players of all time to watch, very versatile.

Im kind of 50 50 on that one and I will tell you why:

I think that it would be a good idea to trade him because they would get a great return for him, such as 1st round picks and a couple of capable already proven players.  In the long run, I think this might be the best option.

But then theres part of me who would hate to see him go.  When he sat out a few games earlier this year, the team looked like sh!t.  Dragic didnt do a good job replacing him and the suns lost all three games to miami orlando and charlotte, by terrible margians.  It would be as if they are throwing in the towel on a team, that I think, has potential to be a possible 5 seed if they hit their stride, which they did last year with a team that people were hatin and sayin they werent going anywhere.

So either way its acceptable to me, but im leaning towards keeping him.

Before he gets into a slump he can get you a 1st rounder for sure playin like this and maybe a young guy. Teams like Chicago and New Orleans who have holes at the 2 spot.

With New Orleans id like Marcus Thornton and a 1st rounder for him.  Marcus has fallen off since last year and he could prolly fix that with the suns.

    2 moves

Jason Richardson, Gani Lawal for James Harden, Dequan Cook, B.J. Mullens and Morris Peterson

Steve Nash and Hedo Turkoglu to Orlando for Daniel Orton, Vince Carter, Jameer Nelson and a 2011 1st round pick.

By doing this, you get James Harden (coming home, 3rd pick, still could be very good), B.J. Mullens (Raw but improving in the NBDL), Nelson (solid until the next PG or Dragic takes the spot from him), Orton ( improving, could be a 3rd big in a couple seasons), 2011 1st rounder and a combined 25 mil cap space to play with for 2011 and beyond.

    What do you think?

    +1 man.

Id love that.  Youve basically got a Jameer Nelson and Vince Carter replacement for Nash and Richardson.

Youve got Harden coming back to Az and hed fit in perfectly to the suns style of play.

    You unload the unproductive turkoglu.

Get a couple of potentional future role playing bigs.

    1st round choice

and the 25 mil to sign a slew of good free agents.

that would be amazing! good thinking!

how about sending him to golden st. for monta ellis…richardson has too many holes in his games to be nothing more than a 3rd option

Orlando wouldnt take Turkoglu because they didnt want him at that price tag and Lewis and Hedo would really push them back financially they would also be weak on the perimeter as far as defense goes with Nash-Redick-Turkoglu as the starters because Q-Rich cant go 2 guard and Pietrus is their energy man. Lewis is no help inside so teams would just go at Dwight each and every possession

Nonetheless its a great idea both deals but Phoenix does these deals right away, Orlando and OKC dont

Holes in his game? where are the holes in his game?  He can rebound pretty well for his 6’5 frame.  Hes got all the offensive tools

averages 1-2 steals a game. Not bad devensively. where are the holes?

I wouldnt mind Monta Ellis though 🙂

Orlando would get torched on the defensive end. I like the trade ideas though for PHX thats instant rebuild mode Denver wants that in return for Carmelo instant ability to rebuild

average ball handler for a perimeter player, which limits his effectiveness in the halfcourt and a average  defender…

Not true. Hedo WANTED to leave Orlando. Orlando had offered a deal in that range to Hedo, once he let them know he didn’t wanna come back, they got Vince Carter for a higher price. They wanted to keep Hedo. Doing that move gives Orlando the player they wanted to keep but a better PG in Nash. I think they’d bite and doing knowing Nash was coming along as well.

    Why wouldn’t OKC do it?
