TRC1991Participantboth had 0 points and 13 assists…im not sure but this could very easily be the first time in NBA history that 2 players in separate games recorded 0 and 13

MuggsyParticipantNot sure about history, but I think the stat is kind of cool. Shows good leadership and true PG ability. I would expect a stat like this from Kidd, but Calderon kind of surprises me.

jjonzParticipantI mean real set up/protect the ball points. his asst/turnover rate is 4.1 or something. just put him on a team that can hide his defensive liability and he would be an allstar. i think he’s 28/29, could provide leadership for S.Kings & move Tyreke off the ball. I would go so far as to give a future protected 1st rnd for him this year.
Top 5 real PG
Rose/Nash/Rondo/Paul/Calderon DWill is 1st &2nd option for Jazz he has nobody to set up so he has to create more than before.

Bossy13ParticipantGood leadership and pg abilities? lol. Ok. I don’t see anything positive in your starting PG getting no points. I think both teams lost and I’d say it had a lot to do with the fact that neither pg could score.

Bossy13Participant@jjonz-
Yeah, Calderon is efficient ( his asst/to ratio is great). But that efficiency comes at a cost. For one, Calderon is a terrible fast break pg. He’s half court and nothing else. And then when he is in the half court, he doesnt take any chances, which is why his TO’s are so low. There’s a reason Kidd, Nash and Paul almost always lead the league in turn over’s… because you have to take chances if you want to make things happen. Also, Jose is almost retarded when it comes to throwing alley oops. Add in his lack of D and as a Raptor fan, I’d throw a huge ass party if they could get a first round pick for Calderon. Playing it safe is one thing, but jose takes it too far.
He’d be a great addition as a back up pg to a contending team that needs someone to steady their second unit.

ilike.panochasParticipantCalderon couldn’t even take the starting job from Jarrett Jack. They traded Jack just so they can start Calderon and his $10 mil per year contract v

dmo21ParticipantI watch a lot of Raptor games and I would say Jose is good in the fast break as he always wants to push the ball up the court and get easy baskets for his teamates. I also thought he was pretty swell at throwing alley oops, he gets Amir about 2 or 3 a game, they play a nasty pick roll duo. Just from memory i remember Jose dribbling right at the three point line and throw a one handed alley oop pass across his body to DeRozan.. I would not say that is a bad pass…
