I've only been able to watch

I've only been able to watch high school youtube highlights of him so it's impossible to say how that translates to the NBA.He seems to have a bright future but a lot of that depends on how much work he puts in and how coach Cal develops him.

I see a lot of Nic Young and

I see a lot of Nic Young and JR Smith in him, minus the ppor shot selection and knuckle head attitude.
Extreme bounce, picturesque shooting stroke, great handle.. I've watched him play at least 20 times live at his AAU games, and he dominates everyone. He does what you would expect a top flight college guy to do to inferior AAU competition. His iso moves are top tier man, top tier. He is my favourite player of the past 10 years, and im glad he is going to Kentucky were he can learn to be a bit more a team guy. Great kid, as a Mavs fun i hope in some strange turn of events we end up getting him whenever he comes out.

I think he'll take a back

I think he'll take a back seat to the more ball dominant players on that team. Out of both Harrisons and Julius Randle, Young is the least ball-dominant of the bunch. For that reason, I could see him staying 2 yrs so he can show what he's capable of doing in a more featured role. It'll be interesting to see how he and the Harrisons play together. The Harrisons tend to dominate the ball or pass to each other. Randle also likes to play with the ball from the perimeter and catch and hold. I think Young's role will primarily be as a shooter and shotmaker. He's really good though, very smooth and economical. Out of UK's class I think he's the most polished offensively in terms of decision making and shot selection, but is not as good of a ball-handler as either Harrison or Randle. Seems to play the game with a good court sense though and unlike the other scorers in his class doesn't need the ball to be effective.

Reminds me a lot of James

Reminds me a lot of James Harden, actually.

I think he'll be fine. He's really talented, and we really have no idea how talented the UK players are gonna be. Sure, Randle should be their best player, but there is still A LOT of uncertainty.

I also think he is gonna be

I also think he is gonna be relegated to more of a spot up shooter role with the class that is coming in, and hopefully Cal doesnt bring in another overloaded class that forces unready guys out the door, because with a second year being the man, Young could be a top 5 pick in my mind. He has all the attributes to be a 20ppg scorer at the college level, though at Kentucky, scoring numbers are often much lower due to the broad array of talent.
