He will lose 4-1 and instead of hailing "King James" the excuses will be aplenty. I wish the NBA would do away with conferences so we could see the playoffs get more interesting

Obviously people don’t get the joke calling James Jones "King James". I know there are plenty of Lebron fans but can a guy have fun responding to the original post or can people not read

     Excuses??

    Surely the Warriors are favourites?

Don’t need to make excuses if your not expected to win.

I really don’t care who wins this year I wouldn’t just love for the playoffs to be seeded by the top 16 teams regardless of conference so the playoffs could be more competitive. This way we as fans won’t get robbed with teams getting blasted throughout the playoffs

A Kawii-less Spurs would get blashed by the Cavs

and the Celtics would get blashed by the Warriors

Reseeding wouldn’t change that. The NBA only has 2 good teams. It’s a sad fact, but a fact after seeing the playoffs.

I said "blashed" instead of "blasted."

Apart from it not being a real word, being "blashed" sounds like being an aggressive drunk…

You do realise that if there were no conferences there would only be one change, Miami would be in and Portland would be out. Don’t know how that would be more competetive

Seven straight finals in the modern era is a great achivement. With the Cavs getting over the line last year, LBJ brought a title to Cleveland and that got a monkey off his back. GSW were expected to win last year especially when they were 3-1 up and will start favourites again this year.

There will probably be the most pressure on KD as he has never won a title and needs on to help cement his legacy especially having gone all in and jumped to GSW.

With the consecutive Finals appearances, I wonder how MJ’s first retirement could have affected this outcome as the Bulls would have been well placed for a straight 8 run in MJ hadn’t missed all 1993-94 season and most of 1994/95

my reasons for this is a bit too wierd, I want the GSW to break their team, I know it’s early but if LBJ wins this year, and I hope so he does, and next year, (I’m just praying he does, not saying this would happen), GSW will look for flaws and hopefully they’ll break the team apart( I’m so evil, lol), I want the west to be more scattered on talent, I mean LBJ and co. dominated the East I know.

I want LBJ to be maybe GOAT 2.0, man, his my generation’s Jordan, when I get old, I want to brag that I witness greatness, I’m always in awe when people telling stories about how MJ did this and that. Man, how exciting it is to tell your grand kids you’ve watched the GOAT 2.0, I’m just a fan of LBJ.

I dont really care who wins now. The NBA has turned into a soap opera. Couldnt have been more scripted and geared towards power teams to satisfy the TV contracts. The cap increases right on schedule so a small market team like OKC can lose thier superstar and the Warriors dynasty can make room to add Durant.

Lebron, a goat, top 10 if he retired today, 7 straight finals, most talented basketball player ever, nearly indestructible but hes a flopper and a whiner. Now the whole world will learb to flop. Its a skill… I remember when I learned to play you were taught to never let the opponent think your gurt or tired and if it showed that you were you got sent to the bench. And Kyrie is probally the most annoying. The way he dances around refs spinning around while complaining about calls. Or makes that wanna be tough face when he finishes his little girly layups.

    Bunch of pansies.
