mgreener_34ParticipantWhat do you guys think of this guy being the third option for the Thunder? He was called a bust/bad pick by a lot of people. Since the Jeff Green trade Harden is averaging 18.2 ppg on almost 50% shooting, as well as 2.5 rpg, 2.3 apg, and 1.2 spg. Pretty good numbers for a second year player. I wouldn’t be surprised if he ended up starting come playoff time.

Thunder DanParticipantI like Thabo to start but Harden off the bench is pretty solid. I think he would start on other squads. His offensive game reminds me of Paul Pierce but with less heart. He has decieving quickness and athleticism. Thabo is just more defensive minded and they dont really need another scorer in the first 5. I also find Harden to be one of the ugliest men in the league. The thought of his bearded face haunts my dreams.

4th dimensionDoesn’t really matter if he starts, as long as he gets atleast 30minutes, he will showcase just how talented he is. I like him better than Tyreke coming out of college and I still like him over Tyreke in the long run. Harden is much more refine as an offensive player.

PlatypusParticipantThey need to find a 3rd scoring option in a big aka a power forward, they can start Perkins and have Ibaka come off the bench

kobyzParticipantAl Jefferson will be great fit for them, is it realistic option to trade for?

TallmanNYCParticipantAfter the trade deadline? No I don’t think a trade for Al Jefferson is a realistic option. And generally speaking teams don’t trade away scoring centers.
I’ve been waiting for Harden to make his move. I had him on my fantasy team earlier in the year but gave up on him because he didn’t get the minutes. He should probably start over Thebo based on production, but I understand that they want more scoring on the second unit. Ibaka should stay as starting power forward (for defense and because his scoring limitations are covered by the other starters) and then the team is set. Ibaka is already good and will probably get a lot better over the next couple of years, so he should be a final solution for that spot without any need to do a trade. Especially as long as Durant and Westbroock are around to score.

OhCanada-ParticipantHe maybe the most skilled player in his draft class…hell he maybe the best player out of that class. If Harden was traded for Derozan at the beggining of the year Harden would probally be averaging over 20-ppg, and Derozan around 12.

Anton123ParticipantI love Harden, he’s actually really athletic, which he showed well during the rookie game, he’s great at cutting to the basket and drawing fouls. He’s also a great shooter and not at all a bad defender. He was also a young sophmore coming out of college (he’s the exact same age as Evans). You can see he has really improved since his rookie season.
I wonder if he’ll let that beard get even bigger lol.

kobyzParticipanti think he is good, but still not great, he could be great as he improve his shooting and be more consistence with it, he is a nice athlete and very good attacking the basket.

Cardinal_FanParticipantI dont know y people ever questioned his him as an athlete, i was watching him throw down some nasty dunks on guys back when was at ASU. And how can anybody 4get that dunk face on JJ Hickson who is a good athlete at 6’9/6’10. I love his game he should be a starter but he does fit better with the Thunder in his 6th man role because they do have enough perimiter scoring between Durant and Westbrook in the 1st 5. If u was Chicago i would have been blowing up Oklahoma Citys phones tryna get him because i think he woulda been great fit next to D.Rose even tho i doubt OKC would part ways with him.
