FastAndFuriousParticipantOKC SICK!!!! LOL
He really showing his stuff, kudos to Mr.Harden, looks like 80mil wasn’t enough either!

river09ParticipantIt is through just two games but it sure does look like at 80mil Harden is a steal… I thought he would be effective sure, but I never thought he would be this effective this early on..

Wavy BagelsParticipantVery impressive from Harden in a 3 day span. The season is still young though, but he’s playing like he was worth what the Thunder gave Durant and Westbrook.

goneParticipantOk good game but be real be played the Pistons and Hawks….

joecheck88ParticipantI would say you were a hater if you weren’t right. Haha. Seriously though, Harden has been super impressive. Yea, it is against inferior competition but they are 2-0 and those numbers are very difficult to achieve against anybody. Will the league catch up to Harden and Harden come back to earth? Yes but let us enjoy him in the mean time and anticipate more great games from him and a fun team to watch.
Also, Asik and Lin are looking like solid signings as well. Lin had 21, 10 boards and 7 assists and Asik had 19 rebounds(disregard offense. Haha). I was down on Houston even with Harden. Meaning didn’t think playoffs but if they continue to beat inferior teams and beat some good teams, they could sneak in.

goneParticipantNobody expected the production but I’ve seen MVP, 80mil is not enough, a 80 mil dollar steal like really its like watching a rap battle and someone says a hot line and the entire crowd goes bananas

Wavy BagelsParticipantHe’ll get true tests vs Portland on the 3rd (I expect Batum to be guarding him a lot) and against Memphis where Tony Allen and the Grizzlies are waiting on the 9th.

FastAndFuriousParticipantIDC who he has played the dude is on a tear and is showing he can clearly be a number one option for a team:
41pts
7boards
7ast
2stls
through 2 games

OhCanada-ParticipantDidnt expect thos production from James at all wow. Future #1 SG im the league? If he keeps this up he could be in MVP talks.
Off the topic but for those who watched the game what are your thoughts on Marcus Morris with his 17 and 7 in 19 minutes tonight.

Bill Walton’s KneesParticipantHe’s playing with a huge chip on his shoulder. I love the way he plays, always under control, crafty, smooth yet physical. It always looks like he’s going the same speed. Beautiful to watch.

Not for another 3ish years my man0 - Posted on: Fri, 11/02/2012 - 8:49pm #725830
NickWayne87Participantover the course of his career, one of my favorite players EVER. not after 2 games but if by mid season Harden is still keeping this up and keeps it up all year to the tune of 26-6-6 or better….who’s better RIGHT NOW?
0- Posted on: Fri, 11/02/2012 - 8:51pm #725831
Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantIf he continues to put up 26-6-6 for the rest of the season, he’s definitely in the conversation. I’m sure Kobe would put up similar stats and Wade is going to put up 25-5-5 with terrific defense so he’d definitly be in the conversation but it’s too early to tell.

theballerwayParticipanthad 40 last night too, its just thats its nothing new( yeah they lost, to a gd team tho). All am saying is Kobe Wade have had soo many high scoring games with crazy stats in the past, its gonna be a while before you can legitately compare him to those guys. Saying that it looks like hes starting his compaign now. Also whats key is the pressure hes taken off of Lin. Lin wasnt looking too greeat in preseason but know with an effective partner in the back court he seems to be findibg his groove

JoeWolf1Houston looks pretty good as a team. They could use a true #3 option, but Morris and Parsons might work trading places in that role because their both great glue players and very different in their styles.
#1 option, #2 option who can create his own shot at PG, defensive center, a nice collection of young players who can do a variety of things on the court.
A better backup PG is a concern, and neither Parsons nor Morris are great at creating their own shots as a 3rd option, but I’m high on both players as guys who can step in and do what’s needed. I don’t think they’re a contender, but I think they’ll win 50 games.

3–6i dont understand why they haven’t given machado a chance. the guy is worthy of a chance
0- Posted on: Sun, 11/04/2012 - 7:25am #726005
TallmanNYCParticipantThey have him on the team. He will get his chances. These games have all been too close for him to get his first true NBA burn. Hopefully they won’t only send him to D-League this year, because I also think he can contribute to an NBA team this year.
