I think I’m finally sold on this guy being something in the NBA. He’s an above average scorer, he can get to the line and shoot a decent percentage, he’s got a 37 inch max vert, and he actually out performed Johnny Flynn in the lane agility and 3/4 court speed. I think the knock of being too slow and nonathletic for this guy is a far cry from his actual game.

Any doubters feel free to jump on the bandwagon like I am.

He’s a baller man, hes good at everything, hes an excellent shooter, hes got vision, hes not a freak athlete but he is vastly under rated, he did good at the combine, hes 6’5″ with a 6’11” wingspan, hes just a solid player. He understands the game so good for his age.

He doesnt have any weaknesses..but his athletic testing results were a huge surprise to me. He is an immediate impact player, but I dont see him getting hardly any better after his rookie year

He can Improve his shot, work on his speed, improve point gaurd abilitys and ball handling, drving wit the right and looking to score, improve defense. hes solid fundmentally sound an all. Brandon roy is one of the sneaky explosive playrs in teh league with al il work i think harden can be also.harden came in the league younger then roy so he has more a higher ceiling you can say with his flashes of play making skills.I have the sports package i watch the pac 10 channel im telling you with a litte work harden can play point. the memphis should draft him and have him subing of the bench for mayo sometime and for conley at the point sometimes on the offensive end he will dominate againt the smaller 1 gaurds things might come easier to him and developing a post up game so he can use his height to his advantage. I think i watched an interveiw where he said he wasnt the man on his high school team he was a role player in high school untill his last 2 years or his last year. Hes got better and better. memphis please draft him. im not sure on brandon conley was compared to tony parker also i wish brandon would have came to some work outs. but im not sure so memphis take harden

As a west coast guy, I watched him a lot the last 2 years. And I’m still really torn on him. He’s unselfish to a fault, has great court vision, and is a knock down shooter. He’s crafty as hell and has great control when he get’s into lane either pulling up or finding the open man.

His negatives are that he really does not have blow by you speed or explosive finishing abilities around the rim. He might be a solid athlete, but he’s not exceptional by any means. Also, he has a bit of a slow shot with a low release point which makes it difficult for him to shoot over defenders. I think he’ll be good but not a star.

2ND BEST PLAYER IN THE DRAFT BY FAR. NOT EVEN AN EXAGGERATION. NO ONE IS CLOSE TO HIM AND GRIFFIN. I DOUBT ANOTHER PLAYER IN THIS DRAFT AVERAGES NEAR 14 POINTS A GAME. THE REST ARE PROJECTS. THE THUNDER BETTER TAKE HIM OR I WILL BE PISSED AS HELL. F THABEET.

    Ben Gordon 2.0 (lefty version)

I think he will be a valuable contributor wherever he goes. I expect him to be picked 3rd by Oklahoma.

They should definitely take Harden. He is unselfish so he won’t keep the ball from Durant or Green. And he is a great shooter when he gets his feet set which rarely happened at ASU because defenses focused on him. Oklahome would have
    pg-westbrook
    sg-harden
    sf-durant
    pf-green
    c-kristic

that’s a heck of a lineup. Eventually they will probably need to get a legit inside pf and move Green to the bench where he could one of the top 6th men and play multiple positions. OKC has a bright future. Poor Seattle fans.

Yeah in the ncca coaches made whole defensive schmes to stop him. Mostley trying to zone ASU and stop him from getting in the lane. He really didnt have nobody great on his team i liked glasser tho. but in the nba he will have alot more freedom nd why do ppl say he has no poteinal I compare not no site I compare him to a bradon roy/ manu type player

willing passer, when the ball is in his hands its most likley something good is going to happen, he can creat his on shoot and doesnt have a problem scoring, high basket ball iq, hes 6-5 roy and manu are 6-6 but the the thing harden is he has long enough wing span to play bigger and he looks to have a stronger type of build then them so he can gaurd small fowards.roy 2 time all star, manu 3 time champ harden is coming in the league younger then both of them with and already high skill level so how dont you see poteinal? he improved from his freshman to sophmore year the greuilng nba games ,nba schedule and the nba peroid a make him tough and better. come on memphis

I still have a man crush on Harden. If Minnesota drafted him, I would never feel sorry for trading Mayo ever again.
