He's a wing and in this days
He's a wing and in this days NBA the difference between the two and the three is getting less and less important. Tony Allen guards the opposing teams best wing position if it's Kobe or Durant so to me it doesn't matter too much, he can play and the coach can figure it out. Franklin also rebounds at a high level for his size so it won't hurt a team to play him at the SF for stretches.

With how big so many small
With how big so many small forwards are now, I don't think he'll be given the opportunity to be a small forward. Skill-wise, there are no differences between the two positions but there are physically as small forwards have kept getting bigger and bigger. About half the starting small forwards are 6'8 or bigger.

I havent figured out yet wether or not i think he can play the 3 in the NBA. I think he'll be able to spot it for a couple minutes but he lacks bulk, and is undersized for the 3. His game would be better suited there than at the 2, he plays the 4 in CBB often.
Do you think he can play Small Forward in NBA? What's his wingspan?
