bozman11ParticipantWhy aren’t people that high on this guy? I watched the combine and listened to some podcasts and no one mentions him. He’s got lottery talent, elite athleticism, and a nba body. Now his shot selection and shot are suspect at times but you can coach that. Waiters came out and supposedly had no jumper and he showed flashes of it during the year. This guy is really underrated in a draft like this. He’s a leader, he rebounds, he’s got that killer instinct in him. What do you guys think of him and where he might land?

Chilbert arenasParticipantFranklin competes with the best of them. He’s got heart and wants to win along with all his physical tools. His shot selection can be poor yes, but these things can be fixed. I see him getting drafted late 20s and getting PT based on the fact that he gets after it on the defensive end.

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantTony Allen 2.0 and I think with the right coach in his ear (Coach Pop) he can turn out to be an 8 year starter and get his jumper going.

RollingWaveParticipantbecause no one is sure what his offensive game will look like in the NBA, everyone only knows that it’s not gonna look like what it was in College.
he’s not elite enough of a scorer to be used in that Allen Iverson impersonation he did there. where every play he drives, and if he can’t get to the rim most of the time he’ll take the ugly shot. guys who do that in the NBA totally destroyed college ball. Franklin didn’t.
It could turn out he really just can’t play without the ball in his hand, that would make him a very defensive oriented player , though on the bright side I think he’s very good there. so yeah, he’s not thaaaat different from Victor Oladipo in a sense.
or it could turn out that in fact he’s an exceptional off ball player that was miscast in college, in which case he’d be awesome.
I’d certainly take him mid first round. the downside is still pretty darn useful.
