PrecociousNeophyteParticipantI was going to go to off topic to post this, but I thought it was far to interesting to put there and I wanted everyone to see it. It is about a 13-year old kid who is in college because of his amazing math skills. PS – he goes to IUPUI, so I wonder if he knows Alex Young, lol.

mikeyvthedonParticipantThis is definitely an Off-Topic gem, but it is pretty amazing. He is like the real life Sheldon from "The Big Bang Theory", lol (though Sheldon is more Asperger’s than Autism). Nonetheless, he seems pretty damn sociable and it is pretty awesome that he is doing what he loves, not to mention excelling.
One of my favorite director’s Errol Morris, had a show called "The First Person". It had a segment on this amazing woman with autism named Temple Grandin. HBO made a movie about her life starring Claire Danes, it was also excellent. Temple loved science and she loved animals. She came up with humane slaughter houses that are absolutely incredible. Here is the first segment, but I think you can watch the full ep on youtube. It is worth it.

frogmanParticipantThis is nuts, I would be demoralized if I was taking a college class and an 8 year old was getting better grades than me haha. Crazy how autistic kids have that memory. My friends brother has the condition and he could go to every kid in his school of over 800 kids and would know their name, even kids 4 years younger that he has never talked to before.
