Is it over for Rubio?
What drug are you on because you must be high if you think it is over for Rubio after you just watched a couple games of Shved, if anything I Shved working with Rubio as the starting shooting guard going with a two point guard line up just like what they did in Ridnour, making Roy the sixth man, giving him less time to rest his injured knees

As a fan of Rubio..I was Afraid this was a thread saying Rubio had Suffered a career injury today...But instead its a thread by 1 of Shved's relative,overhyping him....But i have seen Shved play in person,i think by mid season he might be starting at shooting guard ..Plus he also need to add more muscles...
I think what you learn from that video is not much. The first half are mostly routine plays. The number four play is probably the best. Kind of reminds me of some of the Jan Vesely video predraft. With young Brent Barry's body. Some better plays in the Euro Final Four video, if you can look passed all the free throws. Looks like a better ball handler than the highlight of the dunks suggest. Together with Rubio, if they don't get thrown around physically, should be fun to watch.
What is it with basketball fans these days? Not only Rubio the reason the Wolves were a serious playoff contender at the midway point of last season, but Rubio has the potential to be one of the best passers this game has ever seen. Pass first point guards always have a place in the league, for example Steve Nash, Jason Kidd, and Rajon Rondo.
They were all selected to multiple All-Star games, as I am sure that Ricky Rubio will do just the same. Sure, Kidd and Nash were more gifted offensively, but Rondo lacks in that department, and he has proven to everyone what he can actually do on the court.
Rubio will be an NBA point guard for many years to come, and he will probably beo ne of Minnesota's franchise players alongside Kevin Love.
Thanks for posting their complete lineup joshinator1. Wow, that is a deep team. Hopefully Dante Cunningham can get some minutes because he is one of my favorites. Great motor, high energy type who does the little things. He plays good defense and can rebound some. I love the way he makes plays above the rim (put-backs, dunks, blocked shots, rebounds). He can even hit some mid-range jumpers from time to time.
This is the team that no one wants to face in the first round.
Rick Adelman should have some fun coaching this team.
The only thing Rubio is better at is defense, I am a great judge of talent what if someone told you Ginobili uwas going to be better than Stephen Jackson when he gets drafted in the 2nd round same reaction but I will bury you guys in this thread
Shved got 13 assists in one game he is playing PG in the Olympics and is a point guard even if he plays on the wing on his club team I guess? King of like Eric Bledsoe at Kentucky he was always a PG even if he was playing out of position
Yes I am a good judge of talent that is why I cleaned up betting today had the under 155.5 big in Russia/China, France on the ML huge as an underdog, and Tunisia +54.5, took a long shot on Britain outright lost that and a lot of other small bets I made won some lost some but made more than some of you make in a whole year lol.

Rubio is also coming off a serious injury you can't even be sure he will be quite the same but he also is only 21 so he might have a lot of upside but Shved clearly better at this moment. Rubio though will never be a great shooter or athlete he is a good passer but he makes a team easier to guard sometimes because he cannot score you see him taking a lot of long jumpers that he cannot make at the end of clocks. Shved has all kinds of talent like, European Baller is right that he does not seem to make the best decisions I will agree with that but he has a ton of talent, he is like Pete maravich skills with Jordan Crawford/Nick Young type decisions sometimes.

Shved is a baller. Him and Rubio will be a treat to watch. Both are creative playmakers who do it with flair. Then they add AK47's passing to the mix? I think they'll be one of the more entertaining teams to watch.
True and dont forget Kevin Loves full court chest passes, but I think they are a better team with Shved at point because he is 6'6 and can score so say they are playing the Hornets or Lakers who is Nash or Paul going to guard? And they will be able to switch more on defense.
having watched Shved play this tournament, and watching Rubio over the last few years, there really is no comparison. Shved is a nice talent and will have a great career...if he stays in Europe. He won't play PG in the NBA and will get eaten alive by a 2 or 3 here. He can't guard, can't really shoot, has good vision, and is athletic. We have too many of those already (See S. Livingston). The lack of Rubio on Spain's team is painfully obvious. He made that group the only group that could hang with USA firepower. Rubio is a top 3 passer in the league and he may not be the one on one defender of a Rondo, but he gets his share of steals.
Also, being a successful gambler does not make you knowledgeable. If that was true, D Trump and a million other Vegas folks would be our NBA coaches.
