It doesnt make sense for the Celtics to break up the "big 3"

For the same reason that the Suns shouldnt trade Nash. They big 3 are RENTAL players for a contending team. No team that is a contender is gonna give up anything worth while. It is a long shot, but they have a chance to compete. The only 2 dominating teams in the east are Miami and Chicago. Both teams rely on " explosion players". That means an injury can happen anytime. It makes sense for Boston to play out the season .

The suns shouldn't trade

The suns shouldn't trade Nash?! I actually see no reason why the suns should keep him .. He actually is making it worst for the suns because he is so good . Yeah kinda weird how it's true but he is gonna make the team stay in the middle and get a bad lottery pick instead of a top 5 pick, he also makes there second most valuable player in the roster(Marcin gortat) cost more to keep because he is feeding him dimes all game everygame ,Nash is actually kinda babying the team by getting them open shots and once he is gone the suns won't be use to creating there own shots with out him, and last but certainly not least they might lose a top 5 pg for nothing

I entirely disagree. They're

I entirely disagree. They're likely to either not or barely make the playoffs this year. With that the case, keeping these guys for the year is a waste. If they trade them they can be truly terrible and get someone great to go with Rondo in one of the best drafts in recent memory. In addition, any late picks they get are more pieces that can be potentially later moved for another major player. Would teams have interest? Absolutely. They aren't giving up their top assets, but even some teen-area draft picks have more value than watching guys walk away after a depressing, terrible season.

what team , which pick?

what team , which pick? Remember , these teams have actual fans that want to see stars when they go to a game. It isnt worth blowing up a team unless there is a light at the end of the tunnel eg Seattle Sonics , Blazer Ect

I'm sure they can find

I'm sure they can find something that will help both teams in the future .. And here's a question would you rather just lose these aging potential hall of famers for nothing??

guys that should be traded

guys that should be traded are guys like Deron Williams or Dwight Howards. Players that have a future that other teams will unload their roster for.

I would rather have Steve

I would rather have Steve Nash with a mediocre team than have that same team with a late first round pick Miami Heat.

As a Celtic fan, I'd try and

As a Celtic fan, I'd try and coax KG and Ray to stay on as mentors for a reasonable price rather than trade them. I'dwant to give them the choice in the matter rather than trade them away after the good years they put in.

Also, they either right the ship and become competitive, or they get a lottery pick. It's a win-win really.

Ray allen could have been a good mentor for marshon brooks.... but they traded him against jajuan johnson.

Maybe KG could mentor him.
