I think Isaiah Thomas would be a great fit for the Miami Heat because he can spread the court with his 3 point range. He can be a playmaker and can get in the lane better then Mike Bibby and Mario Chalmers. He score the ball  more ways better than both of them. They can make up for his size on defense because Lebron James or D-Wade are to great wings that can help him on weak side defense. He can check the weaker of the 2 guard on the team and let Lebron or D-Wade check the better guard. He is very clutch for his size, that make big plays at the end of game.

What you all think should go?

Yes. I posted the same thing yesterday.
They would be deadly with Isaiah Thomas pushing the ball.
Then they could bring Bibby off the bench as a shooter.

I love Isaiah Thomas’s game an i am a big fan of his, but i dont think that would be a good fit for him imo as a starter anyway, he’s a guy that had the ball in his hands alot an needs it to be effective, although u dont need a traditional point guard in the case of the Heat seeing that have to outstanding playmakers in James an Wade i think you would be limiting Thomas if you throw him out there as just as designated shooter. He’s a guy that can create for others as well as go an get his own shot. I would like to see the Bulls nab him in the second round, imo he’s just what they need adding some fire power off the bench and also in some situations play him an Rose together….DEADLY, and imagine him an Rose applying defensice pressure in the backcourt with there speed and quickness. I think they could make a nice two PG lineup like Felton and Lawson did in Denver when they went small

They can also go for Jeremy Tyler, which is a big athletic center-what they need, and has real potential on D. Miami can be a good place for him to get better being around hard workers and winners like Lebron, Wade, Udonis and J. Anthony. He can definitely be useful for them while they also have the luxury of waiting for him to develop over time.

I don’t think they need a Pg shooter out of the draft, because A) they dont really need somebody to be a PG of the team-they have both Wade and Lebron

and B) there are a bunch of shooting guards with experiecne in free agency that would love to sign with Miami like- Anthony Parker, T-mac, Hamilton, Tj ford, Michael Redd, Sebastian Telfair, Sasha Vujajic, Willie Green, Roger Mason

This is a No Brainer. My Vote is for Norris Cole but I have my doubts he will be around. I dont think we need to swing for the fences with this pick, we have an early second rounder and I want to draft either a PG or a Center that can be in the rotation for the next 3-5 years. We dont need a superstar, we could really use a young guy with fresh legs that can stick his looks and play defense like his pants are on fire.

I would love it if Tyler was around, Vucevic,  JaJuan Johnson, Jordan Williams, and John Luer are other guys we should take a look at. With this pick, I’d prefer we hit a surefire single than a home run.

If we decide to go PG, my number 1 guy would be Selby. I would be jumping for Joy if we can get a top 5-7 talent in the draft at that spot at a position of need and I feel like Tyler or Selby are our chances at that. If not, Norris Cole, then Nolan Smith, then Malcolm Lee.

I’m very excited about that pick actually because it is in the perfect spot. We can catch the best talent that slipped out of the first, and there are a great mix of accomplished combo guards or solid role big men that should be available.

What are the free agent point guards available? It takes a while to groom point guards. I think the Heat should look at Nolan Smith and Isaiah Thomas. For big men, Jon Leuer and Keith Benson. I think they can easily upgrade their point guard position through the draft, so maybe they should look at big men (centers).
