Memphisboy14ParticipantI don’t know if it has been posted or not yet but turns out that he had a insurance policy worth at least $1 Million. It’s nice to see that him and his family gave him the foundation for success in case things in the NBA didn’t pan out. I hope that he finishes college, gets his degree and uses that money and his skills and knowledge to be a really productive person in life. Check out the article below.

220ParticipantI was absolutely relieved when I read the article. Austin at least now has an amazing foundation fir a future that was looking bleak.

lisergxParticipantHe seems to have a real passion for the game, he should still try and be involved in pro basketball. He could maybe try and become a assistant coach for Baylor and learn how to coach.

juves4783Participanti just wouldn’t be shocked if the spurs pick him with the last pick. seems like it would be a classy thing to do.

chall23ParticipantYeah I agree, that would be an awesome thing to do but I wonder if Adam Silver would allow the Spurs to ultimately select 2 "players" knowing that unfortunately Austin cannot play… So he would be aunnonced as the pick so his dream still comes true of being drafted, and then they select their other player that they can stash or actually sign? since there is only 2 rounds it’s hard to just use a pick on somebody who unfortunately cannot play. I wish Isaiah the best.

pe3ucTopParticipantI don’t know about the Spurs, but the Sixers have 5 second round picks… If they don’t make some massive moves with those picks, they surely can spare one for Austin. I can’t see them having 6 rookies in their roster.

HuskyWithATarHeelParticipantCoach Drew has stated that he wants Isaiah to come back and finish his degree and he has a spot for him on his coaching staff. It was a sad story to hear but it is turning around to have a good ending. Wish all the best for Isaiah
