Irving and his future impact

I just saw a post talking about the old, more explosive Chris Paul. Kyrie Irving from what I've seen from him really reminds me of CP3 and so I want to ask: How will Kyrie do in the League now that is very dominated by the guard position? Will he exceed expectations and be like the old CP3 or will he not live up to the hype after getting injured his freshman year and be more like a Baron Davis, who is still athletic but not nearly as good?

He's going to be what Jay

He's going to be what Jay Williams was supposed to be. A pretty quick and explosive PG with a nice shot. A guy with good IQ and good passing ability. He's not the next Chris Paul though. I highly doubt anybody in this draft is going to be a superstar player in the L.

I think he is a perfect PG

I think he is a perfect PG for a team with an established offensive base. If he lands in Sacramento, or Toronto he will be very good because there will already be good offensive options around him. If he goes to Cleveland he will struggle. Any prospect can develop into the player intended, but it takes the right system and people around that prospect for the right skills to come out of him.

I'm liking if Perry Jones and

I'm liking if Perry Jones and Irving get paired up in Cleveland, though. I doubt anyone will be a superstar from this draft but I doubt anyone from the top 5 will end up being a bust like the last couple years.

You really like Toronto lol

I think if they added a good center and had Bargnani play PF instead so that he could have someone to pass in to and also Bargnani to kick it out to when he drives and dishes. It'd be difficult in Sacramento, though because Tyreke demands the ball too much for him to be successful there. Cousins is already getting pissed about it.

Kyrie Irving

Should be, at the very least, a solid starter in the NBA. He should not be underrated, he is the best prospect in this draft. Very few if any weaknesses in his game. And he doesn't rely on his athleticism to be effective, so that won't be a major issue for him, as long as he hasn't lost a major amount of quickness from his toe injury.
