 I am going to request that we ban all threads that have the topic T Rex. Just let the man live. We don’t know how much this site means to him and how devastating it would be for him if he got banned, and treating him like he’s the scum of the earth is bullying, which also isnt cool either. And Eventhough the percent of things he’s right is about the same as the celtics chances of winning the championship next year, he’s actually not a bad guy. This guy is a nut and he knows it, and that’s pretty cool in my opinion. If you see something you don’t like just laugh it off and if it really bothers you just skip it. But don’t try to make this site, that essentially is just about a game, way too serious.  

Let’s try to make this the last op about him though please and thank you.

 I agree that banning him is extreme- but the people saying "oh he’s harmless" and "oh he’s just a bit of a celtics homer", have you seen all the hateful biggotry he’s spouting about Jewish denominations? Whether or not you buy into the conspiracy hype, that stuff is just flat out not acceptable in real life, why should we turn a blind eye to it here?

I never had a problem with the dude before all the Jewish ish talk, if he wants to have what seem to me to be crazy basketball opinions, thats 100% percent fine. But when you start spewing the hateful, racist things he says about Jewish people, that isn’t acceptable and we shouldn’t treat the people who are calling him out for it as "bullies". 

 

Where were all these defenders of free speech, telling people to "just skip it" back when the site banned guys like EuroBaller? Now all of a sudden people give a fukc about guys getting banned? Euroballer gets banned for having crazy opinions about Greek racism in the NBA meanwhile this guy is spouting nonsense about Jews and it’s alright and we are bullies for wanting him removed? That’s a bigger load of crap then his posts on the Celtics

At first I was going to write a big post trying to explain but I’m just going to flag anything hateful he says towards Jews.  Cause literally people are still making threads about him every day… When it comes to how people feel all logic seemingly goes out the window, Eventhough I have made it clear I haven’t seen anything racist but I have seen people call him racist out of nowhere and keep trying to ban him.

To suggest that T-Rex is somehow "pretty cool" is pretty ridiculous.  Every web forum is a community, and web communities, just like in real life have, standards.  If a forum community member continues to deviate from these standards in offensive/hateful, and in this case anti-semitic ways, then that is completely unacceptable.  I fail to see how repeatedly posting anti-semitic hate speech (which T-Rex does on a regular basis), is "pretty cool".  Bottom line is that there are standards to this community, and T-Rex has been trampling over them.  Frankly, it’s disturbing that you think that anti-semitic hate speech is okay.

Let me ask you, and other posters, how you would react to someone in your real daily life who repeatedly made hateful anti-semitic remarks?  Would you just laugh these comments off, think they were "pretty cool", and continue to hang out with this person?  No, I doubt that.  I suspect that you would avoid that person like the plague.  I know that I would.

 I haven’t seen anything racist as I posted earlier! Literally everything I see is because he’s a celtics homar! Or the time he said said something about Stern and then out of nowhere someone called him out for being racist, which made me confused and stopped reading the rest of the thread.
