It seems like alot of teams in the top 10 view Jabari Parker as the better player/prospect than Andrew Wiggins. About last night ESPN’s Chad Ford and Andy Kats ( I believe ) treated that if Orlando, Boston, or Utah trade up to Cleveland for the number one pick they would take Jabari Parker and if Philly trade up they are taking Andrew Wiggins. To go along with that Milwaukee seems to like Jabari Parker more and most in Cleveland feel the same way.

I see Jabari Parker being the better pro. But it’s shocking to believe Jabari Parker is the better prospect. It still suprising to me that Cleveland still have Jabari Parker and Andrew Wiggins split right now when reports reporting that he tanked the workout ( I don’t believe so because if he didn’t want to go to Cleveland he wouldn’t go to the workout ), shown up out of shape ( he only had 11% body fat though ), and Andrew Wiggins wants to go to Cleveland.

It seems that Jabari Parker is by far the better prospect ( which he’s not ) if he’s going that far to not play in Cleveland to still be at the top of their draft boards.

I see Cleveland actually trading this pick to Orlando for the 4th pick Arron Afflalo and maybe the 12th pick. They can get Dante Exum or Joel Embiid with the 4th pick and get Nik Stauskis, Adrien Payne, or Dario Saric with the 12th pick. They would then have a real chance to make a run at LeBron James and Orlando takes Jabari Parker. I see Orlando having the best assets for a trade with Cleveland.

    Thoughts?

All I know is that, from everything I’ve seen, Parker is the more NBA-ready of the two whereas Wiggins has the higher ceiling. Hard to say who’s better, or will be better. But I do believe that Parker will eventually grow into a power forward while Wiggins will be a natural small forward. Gonna be fun to watch both of them.

I agree. I think they will both be great. Think Parker will have better #s his rookie year but in their prime they both will be go to guys, IMO. I can envision Wiggins just having a quiet steady year where he shows flashes then has 8 points but always brings it on D(even tho he will still struggle at first) and the team he goes to(in the east) sneaks into the playoffs. Whereas Parker has 17ppg and wins ROY and his team probably pushes for the playoffs(in the east) but has more buzz. If that makes sense. Haha

I’m a Kansas Guy through and through but I have no idea how good Wiggins will be. At times I seen him make basketball moves that didn’t have anything to do with his athleticism that made me believe he would most certainly be a star in the league and other times I seen a guy who just didn’t look ready. On the other hand Jabari parker looked the part all year even during his bad stretches he seemed like a pro, but the concerns of his ceiling are real does anybody remember how Michael Beasely looked after his freshman year. I realize that Beasel has some character issues but I’m getting Beasely vibes here. Looked great as a College freshman but ultimately showed us that was all he had.

I’d go with Wiggins just like I would have taken Rose over Beasley. Just reach for the stars. If he fails nobody could blame you. If he suceeds you have a franchise guy
