After watching the Pacers beat the Thunder, I’ve noticed Evan Turner has been struggling thus far in the Pacers uniform. But I think the problem is more then this, the Pacers in the last few years really haven’t gotten much production from their bench.. period!

Now I know he’s gone from a rebuilding 76ers side to the contending Pacers, but it’s more than that.

Chris Copeland has gone from a breakout season on the Knicks last season to not even having an impact this year.

Gerald Green is another example. Came back to the NBA with the Nets, does little with the Pacers and now has had another terrific season with the Suns.

It can’t just be a coincidence surely? Does Frank Vogel stuggle with the know-how to get the most of of the entire roster he has at his disposal? Or does he not show trust in the bench, and not giving them confidence to perform and play, what’s everyone’s thoughts?

well, Pacers offense is a slow pace one. Green is thriving at the fast pace the Suns play, perfect landing spot for him. Philly plays the fastest pace offense this year, which helped bloat Turner’s stats. as for Copeland, last year wasnt really a breakout year,8 points,2 boards averages. now he’s getting his minutes cut in half for the Pacers. i dont think he was that good to begin with.
