The Indiana Pacers and the 10th pick?

Apparently the Pacers went as far as telling the prospects they worked out that they will not have the 10th pick, so what do you think they will do with it?
Personally i wouldn't mind them trading down so they can take either Bradley or Bledsoe with a pick like the T-Wolves 16th and maybe get there 23rd and get Lawal or Orton.

trade

I like the idea of the trade wit the wolves. Let MN trade 4 and a player to Philly so they can move up to 2 and then trade the other two first rounders to get another in the top 10. Sign Rudy Gay and their on the way

Tade the 10th pick for Heinrich

The Bulls get a sweet pick , giving them the 10th & 17th picks in the first round - the pacers get an experienced, above average starting PG, which they deperately need - and they also have two 2nd round picks to keep building for the future.

Makes sense to me.

heinrich for 10th pick is too much

the way i would look at any trade is would i accept that deal if i were on the other team and in this case the answer would be no. if you're going to get good players you have to give up good players. if i were the pacers, i would ask for luol deng or joakim noah, or at least swap 1st round picks and collect extra picks for future use

Indy should draft Lance

Indy should draft Lance Stephenson and Erice Bledsoe. They will fit well with Granger. Then next year go for David West or Carl Landry in free agency.

2011 line up before the draft

Bledsoe - Stephenson - Granger - West - Hibbert
Price - Jones - Rush - Hansbrough - Parakhouski/Pittman/Jordan

My trade idea

http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=28ynv4v

GSW recieves Nola's pick and Indy swaps the 10th for the 16th

Why does GSW like it? There able to get Paul George and move Biedrins' contract. That simple

Why does Nola do it? They lose Okafor and Mo pete and gain Jefferson who is there big low post guy they need with CP3. To them losing Okafor is a plus so it's essentially losing the10th for Al which is worth it

Why does Indy do it? They get a shot blocker at center and a rebounder which they need and are able to get value while moving down. Mo pete is just an expiring. They'd take Bradley/Bledsoe after that at 16

Why Minny does it? They trade Al and get the stretch big they need and Murphy is a huge expiring contract as well so they can afford to bring over Rubio after the year as well. There able to trade one of there mid 1st rounders to move up and they snatch Henry at 10. I expect them to take Monroe at 4 since he is basically designed for the triangle. If they get Cuz they could look into Henry and Cuz for ET. Infact that is probably what would happen

Lemme get some feedback!

I didn't see Okafor included

I didn't see Okafor included in the Trade Machine breakdown, but excluding him, here's my thoughts on the deal.

Warriors: As a salary dump it's not bad -- looks like about $33 million over five years -- but they're still locked into three years of Posey's deal. I'd rather see them wait for someone's big man to go down (it happens every year) and see if they can get a better offer for Biedrins.

Hornets: They're getting far and away the best player in the deal in Jefferson, so you've got to call that a win. Losing the draft pick doesn't bother me, and Jones is a serviceable player, especially in a frontcourt as thin as New Orleans'.

Pacers: I like Biedrins as a player, but Indy seems pretty devoted to Roy Hibbert. Of course, with Murphy gone there's always the option of starting them together. Moving down in the draft is fine -- Pacers will be looking for a PG, and either Avery Bradley or Eric Bledsoe -- and very possibly both -- will still be there at 16.

Timberwolves: Again, solid player but iffy fit. Murphy is a little too similar to Love for my tastes -- good rebounders, solid jump shooters, not really big enough to defend opposing centers full time. Of course, moving up to No. 10 could help that -- with two top-10 picks, Minny could grab Cousins at No. 4 and still have plenty of wing options at 10 (Henry, maybe?).

The deal seems pretty solid for everyone but the Warriors, just because I think they can do better.

Nateoak, it's a good try, but

Nateoak, it's a good try, but I do not like that trade for the Wolves for a few reasons.

1.) They don't need cap room next year to bring Rubio over, he will start off on the rookie scale.
2.) K-Love is a big who can already stretch the defense. They don't need another unathletic white dude patrolling the paint. Murphy is definately a downgrade from Big Al. The Wolves could move Big Al for a much better player than Murphy.

I do like the idea of swapping picks and then using Cousins and Henry to trade for Turner. I wouldn't be shocked to see the Wolves swap their 16 and 23rd for a team in the later part of the lottery like Indiana or some other team that is looking to move down.

For the W's it's more bout getting George

I have Cuz falling to them in my mock so Monroe would be traded to Philly in the end. GSW will not pass up Wes J, not even for Cuz. He is there guy

Another idea but very similar with slight adjustments

http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=237qc3f

Minny: They trade the 4 and 10(from Indy for the 16) to Philly for the 2nd pick. Okafor can be there mobile shot blocker and Murphy is there stretch big they wanted. Trading Al and Gomes has always been on there wishlist.

Indy: Get the 16th pick from Minny and take Bradley/Bledsoe (I think Bradley). Biedrins and Hibbert together would be a nice front line since Hibbert is more of a scorer than a rebounder and Beans is the other way around. Gomes would be Granger's back up and a backup the PF as well. He's basically there 6th man.

Nola: They give GSW there 11th. Jefferson is enough for them to give away the 11th, Hollins is just a throw in.

GSW: Would take Monroe or Cuz and than take George at 11. Posey gives them a tough wing defender which they dont have.

GIMME some feedback :)

If the Pacers keep the 10th

If the Pacers keep the 10th pick I think they'll take a long look at Xavier Henry.

i think

Seems like many teams such as Clippers and Pacers, and even Pistons are lookig to move around a little bit in the draft. Just seems his year more then others teams want to get the player they want even if hes predicted to go before them or after them.

I think they trade down to

I think they trade down to Milwaukee to grab Hayward as I dont think anyone other than IND will take him in the lottery, I think they give Xavier Henry to MIL for the rights to Hayward

Milwaukee may trade up

Milwaukee may try to trade up, but what would they have to give up to move to 10. Whatever it is, there isn't enough difference between Henry and Hayward to make it worthwhile. George or one of the PFs maybe, but not Henry.

My Guess

Minny and Philly deal falls through and Minny does not get Turner. Minny keeps 4 and trades 16 and 23 for the 10. Minny goes BPA at 4 and takes Henry or George at 10. Pacers get two shots at 16 and 23 for filling needs.
