Tobe BryantParticipantLandry Fields: Needs to get use to shooting that open 3 pointer with attention on MELO and AMARE’. Has to also be prepared to defend the opposition’s best wing player. Showed good shooting touch and finding his spots to take shots.
Avery Bradley: Maybe it was first game jitters, but this guy looked like a shell of himself. Should have stayed in school. Don’t see him getting much more playing time with Rondo emerging and Paul Pierce returning from injury.
Devin Ebanks: I like this guy for LA! One of the few new guys to have a bright future. Active on D and can knock down the perimeter jumper. Makes the right plays, not let’s see when Kobe challenges him to create some offense and see what he’ll do.
Brandon Jennings: The growth of this guy is being stunted and I can see him leaving the Bucks. Plays well, but can be sporadic with his three pointers. Finishing is something he must work on, but this will be later down the road. Hopefully he realizes his talent and Scott Skiles gives him the keys to the team.
Demar Derozan: As athletic as ever! Now looking to work on jumpshots and overall game. Expecting a big year.
Damion James: Looks a bit shy on the court. Too many monster attributes not to get highlights slams on a nightly basis. Especially playing with an elite PG like Deron Williams.
Lance Stephenson: Either Larry Bird should trade or cut the guy. I know of the character issues, I know about the off-court incidents, but this guy is the most talented POINT GUARD on their roster. I can’t fault Bird or the coach because it’s ultimately Stephenson’s fault that he’s in this position. In 6 minutes, he showed his sick handle, great passing, and strength. Can be a capable lead guard once he gets his head on straight, or off the ball like Tyreke.
Paul George: Long wingman looking for his emerging perimeter skills. Showed good flashes on defense. Another good year hopefully for George.
John Wall: Quick as lightning, extreme athlete. Decision making will catch up in time. I like his leadership for this young squad. Last night he got to the rim well and made some good passes. McGee and Blatche gotta help this guy out and get open.
Wesley Johnson: Looked smooth running the court receiving passes from Rubio. Played Durant as well as he could. LOL. I like him to get some strength and add his jumper. a great year ahead hopefully.
Dominique Jones: Deserves more time for Dallas. They are lacking youth and athelticism. This guy is very strong and can play and defend both guard positions. I expect his name to become very familiar in the NBA circle this season. Even though it was garbage time, I like how he penetrated and got teammates involved.
Quincy Poindexter: I like his activity at the SF position. Gets easy baskets running the court and getting second chances off of rebounds.
Jordan Crawford: Surprised to see him get the start over Nick Young. Showed his usual craftiness, but scoring ability was sporadic. Looks like he will move to the reserve spot and energize Washington off the bench.
Greivis Vasquez: Good pickup by the Hornets. Had good minutes off the bench, but too many turnovers. If he’s gonna be a backup, he has to play better.
Al-Farouq Aminu: Was good on the boards in limted minutes against Phoenix. Hopefully he won’t be buried on the bench this year.
James Anderson: His jumper looked SCARY good against Memphis. Lit OJ Mayo a few times! Glad to see him receive minutes. He’s gonna be huge in Popovich’s rotation this season.
Larry Sanders: Subpar rebounding and blocked shots against Charlotte. Must use his length better. Fouls were also an issue.

Tobe BryantParticipantStephon Curry: Even on the bad ankle, he was nice against the Clippers. I would have never guessed that this guy had this much PG ability. Finds the open man and runs the offense well, including transition. Must defend better, considering the level of elite PGs in the league. Shot is there, I think he needs to let that ankle heal so he can be full strength and have career longevity. Against the Bulls, disaster strikes and he hurts that ankle again. Smh.
Blake Griffin: Monster. The Warriors did a great job on him, Lob City wasn’t as prevalent as advertised. He still managed 22 points and 7 rebounds.

JoeWolf1I expected a lot more of Avery Bradley too, but this is just one game. I’ve heard really good things about him from Ainge in the past 6,7 months and I really liked his length and defensive ability as far as meshing well with the Celts. Hopefully he’ll bounce back.
Larry Sanders is another guy I expected more from, I expect him to be a top 10-15 shot blocker in the league by the end of next year. He has great length and an emerging jumpshot. Again, hopefully just a little rust.
Damion James did have 14 boards last night, I didn’t get to watch the game, but that certainly isn’t disappointing.

Tobe BryantParticipantI was judging from earlier on in the game when New Jersey was struggling to stay in the game. I guess he picked it up on the boards, but I want to see him get some easy buckets.

JoeWolf1Yeah, good point, he has a pretty good 18 footer too, by the time he left Texas his offensive game had come a long way. I’ve always liked him, hopefully he can keep his spot in the starting lineup.

Tobe BryantParticipantThanks man, I think I may be missing a couple more players.

HALO187ParticipantBrandon Jennings: His growth has been stunted because the many leg injuries he’s had and he is a very streaky jumpshooter. The keys have already been handed to him and I think this is his 3rd year season as well. I think he will survive because he’s a great player I don’t think he’s a good defender
Landry Fields: He plays with two selfish players that shoot a lot and a point guard who also shoots a lot his best bet as you said would be to hit the open 3 and also I think he needs to continue to rebound well. Im not really worried about him the tempo and style of play he’s in dictates that as long as he defends rebounds and hits the open shot he will always have a job.
Lance Stephenson: Wasn’t high on him coming out and I don’t know if he will ever live up to the expectations, Yes I think he’s a gifted player but other than the pre-draft workouts I saw on youtube I haven’t really been impressed with anything he’s done so far.
Demar Derozan: Also a 3rd year guy. I like his motor and athleticism and his improving ball handling and shooting ability he has some all-star potential and he might have a chance to make one in this short year.
Wesley Johnson: Not sure if he’s going to have a great season because there seems to be a log jam at the small and power forward positions at minnesota so Im not sure I think he will be terrific elsewhere but Im not sure.
Jordan Crawford: This guy is a very talented undersized shooting guard in the mold of Marcus Thornton who plays for sacremento. I think he can succeed at shooting guard it just depends on how Nick Young plays this year. If Nick Young is too streaky and doesn’t defend like last year, Crawford’s going to play more.(At least thats what I think)
Devin Ebanks- Im a Laker fan so I’ve been watching him since he was drafted. He’s improved so much I just hope they let him shoot more I think he can be much more than just a plain old trevor ariza for our team.
Vasquez- Didn’t like his attitude and some of the things he said coming out of college. He has some talent but im not sold on him I think he’s going to be another role player.
Dominique Jones: I like his talent But I don’t know what type of minutes he’s going to get I like Boubeu(Probably misspelled) when he’s healthy. I see him as a back-up right now maybe scoring 8-10 per game
Paul George: Now 6’10 with great skills I think he’s a danny granger clone but he won’t be great with all the other solid players including Danny Granger who contributes to the team. He’s going to be a defender, and catch and shoot guy until he goes to a team that can fully utilize his great talent and athleticism

BasketBalAllanParticipantHe started off slow with some bad fouling in the first half, but late in the third quarter picked up his game. Showed improved intelligence and decision making in the post as well as more speed and hustle than normal. Restrained himself and his opinions better around the officials but did pick up a late technical with Gasol.

omphalosParticipantCousins really did impress me, he was absolutely gunning for boards to the point that Gasol and Barnes were both holding him back at one point and he still broke through. He also played some solid D and really energised the team, I’ll be watching to see what he can do against Aldridge very closely.

apb540ParticipantIf Evan Turner doesn’t start and get 35 minutes a game for the Sixers, they are no better than they were last year. The kid is a stud. Excelent ball handler, rebounder, passer and finisher. Above average mid-range shooter who can take the ball coast-to-coast as good as any SG in the league…..and yet Jodie Meeks still starts!! Doug Collins needs to get his rotation together asap.

For_Never_EverParticipantAvery Bradley been looking shakey even the pre season game. His handle is terrible.

marcusfizer21ParticipantI wonder why this guy fell way to the 24th in the 2010 draft… This guy is pretty impressive in my books… damn athletic

mikeyvthedonParticipantFor the sake of my fantasy team, I am banking on you being right.

JNixonParticipantAvery Bradley is nonfactor. He is a fesity defender with quick feet, but his handle, strength, and confidence all are under par for a combo guard. Bradley is a 6’3 180 combo guard who isn’t a shot creator. Bad mix.
