…that they’ve changed the rookie-sophomore format at all-star weekend.

Imagine how great that game would’ve been in 2015. Partly because the rookies should’ve destroyed the sophs, but I’d really love to see Wiggins and Parker play on the same team- their strengths would really complement each other. Imagine a lineup of Smart-Exum-Wiggins-Parker-Vonleh (even assuming Embiid is still injured) getting out in transition at will. And then LaVine and Randle and Gordon coming off the bench…and McDougie and Stauskas making it rain…

…and this won’t be happening this year. Cheers NBA.

I actually kinda like it, you get a mix of rookies and sophomores on the same squad. Maybe you see wiggins catching an alley from trey Burke or Giannas chase  down blocking smart or something. I like that format better but that’s just me. Iunderstand where your coming from, my brother likes the old format.

 It was getting boring.  Every year the sophs would pistol whip the rookies.  I kind of like the new format.  Hopefully Shaq continues with his horrible drafting, and Wiggins and Parker end up on the same team.

 I’m a fan of the old format, I just think there was a bit more comradity between teammates when it was all rookies vs all sophomores. I don’t really mind if the rookies and sophomores are mixed to be honest, I’d love for the game to have an element that made things to be a little bit more competitive; besides the Hardaway JR and Waiters duel, last years game was a snore.
