CoolidgerParticipantSince everyone seems to be making bold predictions today, I’ll go ahead and give some of my predictions for next season in the NBA.
I predict that 1230 games of basketball will be played during next years regular season. I’m predicting that 24 players will play in the All Star Game in Toronto this year. I’m also calling it here, and I know this is bold, but I really believe that 8 teams will make the playoffs in the western conference, while a total of 8 teams will also make it in the east. Just call it my intuition.
I know I’m gonna get negged hard for these predictions now because none of you believe me. Just remember, at the end of the season when I’m right about all this, don’t say I didn’t tell ya so. Come back and give me my +1s after you see that I’m right on the money with these.
Anyone else have any bold predictions they’d like to share?

ZachAttackParticipantI also predict… wait for it… I know it’s crazy. But I predict that by the end of the year… The NBA will have an MVP. It’s just rumors right now. But I know it’ll happen.

HeroescantdieParticipantIn this NBA volatile market, many free agents will opt out and since GM’s timeline is short for coaches to succeed, coaches will be fired. Players demand trades, I think GM’s will give them what they want.

XYRYXParticipantI actually like your predictions. Everybody goes for it nowadays nonstop. Gobert, Kelly Oubre, Marcus Smart, Myles Turner… The bad thing about these Homers is they do it nonstop. Very time you get rubbed by Lakers fanboys, who are quite rare here compared to other platforms, very heavy Celtics supporters and believers but also the LeBron fraction who really tries hard no matter how obvious some of James on- and offcourt issues are. Curry is everyones darling now and rightfully so. But unlike someone named James Harden he somehow has the benefit of the doubt to may of us watching the game. Harden for example is often viewed as someone who tries too hard a bit sometimes and playing hero ball instead of making the right choice while Curry really looks awful when he just doesn’t knock down his jumpers.
There are many ways to look at our beloved NBA game but predicting along with major league bandwagoning is HUGE on the Internet. It’s not only that people can raise their hand anytime and anywhere in 2015 but few of us do it constantly and nonstop about some really stupid and biased views but act complete the other way around. Back in my days you could argue with anybody about your teams and players and the best guys have been the most objective fans and posters. Now everybody seems to be the proudest amongst us who are shouting the most and let’s be real who talks alot almost has to nail it at some point. And in the end who cares about who said it first? I like discussing Towns season as much as anybody but that doesn’t mean I need to talk him up to enjoy rooting for him. We all need to enjoy this here, it’s a way to informed and superb place to mess it up with stubborn views and biased Output. Discussions are cool but what is the true Output of a discussion about will be a better player from a standpoint view. Let’s talk about actions, not predictions or twitter feeds!

T RexHopefully I class it up a bit when the season is underway. Right now, I’m just bored as F and stirring the pot, attitude wise, though I believe 100% the substance of what I say.
And I think I may be due for a fall of sorts. What has made me a very good predictor of talent over the last few years was probably in part a good deal of humility.
Nothing sways reason like pride/hubris. Though Summer League has certainly left me with even more pride in my guys, the ones I got negged like crazy for saying were better than guys like D’Angelo Russell before the draft.
Anyway, if I don’t keep my pride in check, I’m bound to end up with egg on my face one of these years.
But I am on the record quite a bit, and don’t have much/any egg on my face so far.
As far as I can see, the most outlandish thing I’ve said this year is that Montrezl Harrell will end up as the starting PF in Houston at some point.
Well, that and comparing "Miles" Turner’s talent level to Anthony Davis, and comparing Porzingis to KG.

HitsterParticipantI predict that both KG and Tim Duncan will retire after this season.
At least one Bucks player makes the All Star Game
We get a first time MVP
Billy Donovan wins Coach of the Year
It is scientifically proven that the biggest basketball IQ gap on a frontcourt is recorded in Dallas when JaVale McGee plays alongside Dirk Nowitzki
Ray Allen comes back and gets his 3,000 career 3 pointers
Joel Embiid gets the starring role in the Greg Oden lifestory film. Greg will play his grandfather.
