if u picked for ur team....

Aside from Mclemore and Shabazz I feel like there isnt really any true star or franchise player in the draft but instead a lot of guys who can turn into solid starters and possibly all stars or at the very least solid guys who come off the bench so that being said I think this draft will be similar to the NFL where they draft on team needs not potential. So who then are ur top 2 or 3 players from the draft that you want on your team that can fit in and help as far as filling teem needs.

As a Minnesota fan we have two picks our lotto and Memphis. I dont wanna see them ink Pek to a big money deal hes hurt way too often and we see with the new cba the worst thing u can have is an big unloadable contract especially in a guy whose not even on the floor, but we also having a glaring weakness at the 2/3 spots. So with that said id like to see Noel slip to us if wer not too far down in the lotto so we can let Pek walk and put the money to better use. Noel brings alot of D and abilities best suited to run the floor fitting in well with Rubio. With the 2nd pick id like them to get Hardway jr. Or someone who can help us at the 2/3 spot. Considering what i said before if Noel isnt available id like minny to grab GRIII or KCP. Both can fill the hole at the 2 and GRIII offers the ability to also fill in at the 3 sometimes allowing shved to come in at the same time and play the 2.

What do all of u think for ur teams?

As a Clippers fan in the range we are picking a Reggie Bullock or Allen Crabbe would be good, some scoring from the 2 guard while playing decent defense. A outside dream would be that Kelly Olynyk slips a bit for some reason and we can pick him up for some scoring in the post

detroit...

Detroit - Otto porter or Shabazz whichever is available but if they are both gone i woudnt be unhappy with us drafting Michael Carter-Williams. in the highly unlikely event that we get lucky in the lottery and get a very high pick and they are both available i think we will draft Shabazz.

Why Not?

I think they'd complement each other nicely from an offensive/defensive standpoint. Noel's athleticism and activity around the rim would be nice with Cousins' style of play. Defensively would be great too.

As a Suns fan I'd take Noel with my first pick because I have faith in our medical staff and hope and pray the Lakers don't make the playoffs get the 14th pick and take Trey Burke

Sixers- 1st choice Otto

Sixers- 1st choice Otto Porter- He would bring some much needed effort and shot making to Philly. He is a pure 3 which neither Thad Young or Evan Turner are. He could start from day one and contribute in all facets of the game.

2nd choice- Victor Oladipo- He is a difference maker on defense. The Sixers really miss Iggy defending the oppositions top perimeter threat. The Sixers started J-Rich and Nick Young most of the year at the 2. I don't expect Oladipo to come in and make shots like either of those guys but he is a big upgrade defensively. With Turner and Holiday on the roster he wouldn't have to handle the ball much and could be a catch and shoot or slash player. A lineup with Turner and Oladipo at 2 and 3 could potentially struggle from the outside but they will still have an array of shooters on the bench. Maybe if they somehow have a healthy Bynum they will have some kind of flow offensively.

Cavs

1st choice- Otto Porter- Smart player who plays within the offense, can knock down the 3 ball and is a very good defender. Being an a very good off the ball player makes him a perfect fit next to Irving and Waiters.

2nd choice- Alex Len - Len would also be a great fit due to his ability to run the floor and protect the rim.

Mavs

As a mavs fan I hope we pick a player that helps us get younger and more athletic at the wing, someone who can back up, learn from, and eventually succeed Shawn Marion and his role as a defensive stopper and slasher. In our pick range (10-15) I see Victor Oladipo being an ideal choice, though Glenn Robinson III could also develop very well and IMO has a higher ceiling as an overall player then Oladipo, though as of right now, I think Oladipo is the better player. I think Dario Saric could also be an interesting pick here, learning from both Shawn and Dirk could really do wonders for his game, and im not sure how many teams will be willing to run the risk on him, I think he could be a really intriguing pick here if the Mavs decide to take a bit of a reach with him. Second round, I think a high energy big guy cut out the Reggie Evans mold ala Alex Oriakhi or Richard Howell would really help the toughness of the lineup and I think older rookies such as seniors have a better impact on a locker room as they have more experience and oft times are not big stars so their egos are smaller and are really just going to work their butts off night in and night out, which I feel is very important to a locker room dynamic. I think Tony Mitchell could also be an interesting reach pick, he has out of this world athleticism and I think learning from Shawn Marion about defense and seeing how hard Shawn plays every possession and willingness to play every game would do wonders for Tonys development. Im notsure if Vince Carter is under contract for next season, but if he is I feel that he would be able to teach Tony a lot of things about using his athleticism to its fullest potential and playing with energy.

So in summary, 1st round picks in order of most wanted: 1. Victor Oladipo 2. Glenn Robinson III 3. Dario Saric 4. Tony Mitchell
2nd Round Picks in order of most wanted: 1. Alex Oriakhi 2. Richard Howell 3. Trevor Mbawke 4. CJ Leslie

Jazz

I'd take the best point guard available. Burke, MCW, McCollum or Kabongo will do.

Celtics

1st - Isiah Austin: Jump shooting big man would fit right in to Boston's offense and provide some much needed size

2nd- Ryan Kelly: I don't see any reason why he wouldn't turn into a bigger Ryan Anderson if he can improve his body and get over his injury streak

Bucks

As a Bucks fan, I'm guessing we'll pick 15th or 16th.

I'd absolutely love to be able to snag Giannis Adetokunbo there if he makes it to our pick.

Otherwise, I'd love to get MCW if he falls that far, or possibly Trey Burke or Anthony Bennett (for some reason, I feel like he's going to measure out very short at the combine and he'll end up being a slider on draft day). And if someone like Otto Porter or Isiah Austin fell to us, obviously I'd be all over them as well (even if Austin isn't a great fit, he's a unique talent and if he panned out, it's never a bad thing to have too many assets; especially for a small-market team).

2nd round guys I'd like:
Allen Crabbe or Doug McDermott

Bobcats

Well other than McLemore and Shabazz I guess I'd say Noel or Bennett with our first pick. We need someone in the paint, and if we are going to go for Wiggins or Parker next year having picked up MKG at SF and McLemore at SG might come back to bite us in the ass, someone will have to take up the Harden role and I dont know if anyone picked that high in the draft is going to be mature enough to be the leader of the second unit.

With our second pick (Portland), if we get it, I would say we should go for Willie Caulie-Stein, Isaiah Austin, or Mason Plumlee in that order. I assume we're going to take a SG first (McLemore or Shabazz), and if we do we really really really need someone in the paint. We got out rebounded 31 to 60 last night against the Kings, our current bigs are not cutting it.
