laarethekingsParticipantDo the T Wolves move on from this? Do they get a package together with Rubio to bring in a all star player now? And with the 2nd pick then take Knight? And for all those who say NO WAY Knight does 2nd overall… You have him going 3rd overall to the Jazz so its not out of this world.

MJBrownParticipantI get that he’s been a pro since birth.
I get that he looked really good in the Olympics.
I get that he’s still really young.
But what I don’t get is in a league that is going in the direction of the ultra-athletic scoring point guard, how he’s been crowned the next coming to Steve Nash. The league has changed even since Nash’s MVP’s.
Rubio’s numbers aren’t even that good in the second best league in the world. Really, what’s the big deal about this guy.
What I really get, is once again, David Kahn is going to look clueless.

evanlayParticipantThey picked FOUR point guards in the first round only 2 years ago. Granted, they traded two, but if D-Will goes first, do they take Kyrie Irving? If they take Irving, I doubt Rubio will come back any time soon, if he was going to anyways. If the Cavs take Irving, why would the T-Wolves take D-Will if they already have Kevin Love? They need a scoring 2-guard or small forward, and I’m still not sure Wesley Johnson is the answer. Part of all of this must be blamed on David Kahn’s lack of draft genius.

boxn1ParticipantMinnesota is screwed because he was a lottery pick. They won’t move on,they will keep trying toget him to come over. The PC excuse is that Rubio is unsure about the labor situation, but after this summer what will be the excuse. he is gonna force their hand,he doesn’t want to play for them. The sooner Minnesota accepts that, the better off they will be as a organization

Sports Tears In Our BeersParticipantI know one thing, they can’t trade him. DK already has a lot of egg on his face for moves that he has made and things that he has said. Ricky Rubio is DK’s Osama Bin Landen. He won’t rest until he gets him. If Rubio doesn’t come, I could see the Timberwolves being very angry and just saying letting him stay over there. All they have to say is, "Hey Ricky. Want to ever play in the NBA? Than you have to come through us."

aamir543ParticipantIf this Rubio thing fails people are going to call this a lost pick, and they could have gotten Curry or Jennings instead, and the Flynn situation is turning ugly. Any way, people forget that they did not originally own the 5th pick. The Wizards basically gifted them the pick to make cap room. So if Flynn pans out which I think he may, and this Rubio thing gets even worse, remember that they did not spend much to get the pick.

royk927ParticipantIs he finally coming. Seems to be asked more often than not. Id package him for a player that i secretly covet. Try to sign love now cause the guy has a lot of potential and build around love. Even though he is rated as a very good player i dont see them becoming contenders overnight but thats just my opinion.

McDunkinHe and Fran Vasquez are giving Spanish lottery picks a bad reputation.
