How would you feel about your team's picks ?
As a Sixer fan, I'd be pretty happy with Bebe, Muscala and Ennis and hope we can add a free agent 2 and backup point
If CJ is there at 11 - not sure I'd pass him over though
Oladipo would be an ideal pick for the Kings to boost defensive energy off the bench (he's not a starter to me) and Lorenzo Brown is a solid pick up in the 2nd round he knows how to make plays but I still like Thomas better.
Zeller to the Pistons?????
If they announced that pick on draft night, I think a lot of Pistons fans will be disappointed. He might turn out to be a good rotation player in the front court and the team might justify it as BPA, but i think more of us are envisioning a PG, a spot up shooter or a slashing wing to compliment the two post players, rather than a guy to give the two stars a breather.
Idk.. Greg Monroe is gonna get real money soon and it might seem like a contingency plan on case a team makes him a huge offer.
At that point it would either have to be him or Shabazz. If that is how the draft plays out.
For Cavs this sucks massive. I know it is hard to do a mock even though there will be trades on draft day. But picking Len #1 then Plumlee #19 is insane. No way they come out of the draft with two big men. This mean they will have Andy V, Speights, TT, Zeller, Kevin Jones, Len and Plumlee all logged up at PF and Center. All while lacking a SF and backup PG.
I wouldn't mind them getting one bigmen in the draft but no way two.
Gee is nice but they need someone who can be a legit NBA 3 man for sure. They do have 2 picks early in rd 2 as well where there should be a lot of value
If we take a big man with the number 1, 19 will be a SF. Sam Amico reported the Cavs really like Reggie Bullock and Sergey Karasev there. He even went as far as calling Karasev possibly the best SF in the draft(?)
Bulls, Gorgui Dieng. I wouldn't be too upset if they took Dieng. They need a quality backup at center, Nazr Mohammed doesn't cut it.
Personally I'd rather have a SG though. Derrick Rose needs players who can stretch the floor. I'd like them to take Crabbe, Bullock, or Rice Jr. But if they decide to go center I wouldn't be shocked or pissed.
Yeah, DIeng wouldn't upset me either, but I'd love for them to get Tim Jr.
I'd love if the Bulls took Dieng or Withey in the 1st rd because Noah needs to get some rest during the regular season.
For the 2nd round, I really want Vander Blue. Tibs obviously loves the same type of players that Buzz recruits. I would give him a shot at developing into a future two while some current combination of Cook-Bellinelli-Hamilton-Heinrich will have to do for this upcoming year.
It won't look anything like that unless there are tons of trades. Too many teams duplicating positions.
I would be cool with OKC taking CJ McCollum at 12 if he is still there, but if they take him, they certainly aren't taking Nate Wolters at 29 and Isaiah Canaan at 32. Three point guards isn't happening unless David Kahn is making your picks.
Last time I looked, Westbrook was pretty good. Another good backup would be nice in case Houston decides to tackle him again
they could play together. I feel like Russ and CJ would work well together with Russ attacking and CJ spotting up. He did make 52% of his his 3's last year.
If they draft CJ though, it says A) they aren't signing Kevin Martin and B) They don't think that Jeremy Lamb is ready to carry the load.
I like it in this scenario though because they player I want (Steven Adams) is already off the board. I don't want them to draft a big just to draft a big. And I don't want Bebe, Olynyk, Plumlee or Dieng. If they can't get Zeller or Adams, they could do a lot worse than taking McCollum.
I read that Dallas had made Dario Saric a promise that if he played with them next season..They would take him at 13..But he told them he would be playing in Europe next season....
I so hope this is what happens. There is no better scenario IMHO for the wiz.
I like the greek freak at 21, but would rather have schroeder then larkins @ 14
I doubt Giannis last til 21.
