Pelicans get: Dragic, Waiters, Reed, A.Morrow

    Heat get:  Ajinca, T.Jones , C.Diallo, C.Payne

    Cavaliers get: Holiday

    Thunder get: Shumpert

From pelicans point they dont lose much, get a solid PG and SG which can play together and also can play very nice with their bigs. They get a sharpshooter of the bench too.

From heat point, they get a good backup C and i believe T.Jones could thrive with whiteside. They also get projects with Diallo and Payne. they tank. They dont want to spend too much for waiters offseason and Dragic is also too expensive and expandable.

Cavaliers: get the rental point guard for this years championship. He has the size to play shooting guard too.

Thunder: they always love 3 and D guys, and they dont give much back. This makes their hand strong for expiring Roberson, which they may send to utah to get some picks.

Pat Riley must be on crack for him to accept this offer because the Heat basically got bamboozeled on this trade.

Miami will tank and probably get a pretty decent rookie PG next year.

Maybe given opportunity Payne can shine too.

They already have T.Johnson, J.Richardson and they clear massive amount of cap space.

Next year they can be: Dennis Smith, J.Richardson, Winslow, Jones, Whiteside w/ T.Johnson, C.Payne, Ajinca off the bench. And they will have the cap space to sign

They are playing great and Dragic + Mr.Whiteside equals the reason.  You are either a NO or Cleveland fan.

The trade idea you propose makes decent sense, but introducing yourself as having superior cognitive abilities to NBA GMs tainted your post with irredeemable arrogance.

So the Cavs just get to straight up swap Iman Shumpert, a so-so role player, for Jrue Holiday, a former All-Star (who still has the ability to play on that level when healthy)?
