cpoint.jazz8ParticipantIf lockout happens and they miss an entire season what happens in 2012 NBA draft?
Say it happens like that year NHL had a lockout and kept the same order of the draft position new dynasty could be in works…
Clippers will have minnesotas pick (unprotected) and their own which is owed to celtics but it’s something like top 10 protected and they are set to pick at 8…
If clippers add 2 lottery pick on top of what they already have??? uh oh
As for my team Jazz, though I hate to miss a season, the lockout could be amazing for them…
Then they would have their own pick 12th (it’s owed to minnesota but it’s lottery protected, minnesota really gets screwed in this end of the deal) and they get GS first round (top 8 protected) which is projected to be 11th so Jazz would get two lotto picks…

BKKnicksfanParticipantSame order as this past season if there’s no games. I think that means LAC gets the 1st pick and the 2nd pick lol. The Jazz would only have the 12th pick, New Jersey gets the 3.

joecheck88ParticipantNo, in that instance Minny would get the 1, cleveland the 2, Toronto 3, etc with the worst records. Tho the Clips would get the 1st I am sure.
Tho I do think they would have another lottery with Minny(Clippers) having the most ping pong balls.

joecheck88ParticipantAlso, I highly doubt a lockout lasts all season. From reports i have heard and read, the NBA lockout doesnt sound as bad as the NFL. I really believe no games will be missed.

Memphis MadnessParticipantMan, the Grizzlies FINALLY turn into a legit contender and there might not be a season.
Hopefully the Tigers will be good this year.

BKKnicksfanParticipantMinnesota wouldn’t get the 2 because the pick is owned by LAC.

JJeff6ParticipantI like baseball and basketball. I pay most attention to those and a marginal amount to football. I personally dont follow Hockey at all. I just know Ovechkin and Crosby are bosses and the Bruins won. lol

aamir543ParticipantI like baseball…..for the 30 seconds my attention span can handle
For me, baseball is just too slow. I like basketball for many reasons, one of then being the up and down action. If you go take a 5 minute dump, and come back to a basketball game, the 20 point lead may have closed to 5. But in Baseball, you can miss 15 minutes, and the same half of the inning with no runs scored could still be going on.
