If the Clippers gave Blake Griffin the 5 year extension

can it be given to CP3 also? From what I understand only one post CBA player can be offered a deal longer than 4 years. Griffin was given the 5 year extension during the Summer and got hurt just days later in practice against the Select Team and was shut down. Does this eliminate CP3 from being offered a 5 year max deal?

So technically Harden could have with the Thunder then also ?

Is there a limit to the amount of 5 year max deals you give give out if you have someone's Bird Rights?

Each team can only extend 1

Each team can only extend 1 player who is on a rookie contract to a 5 yr max.
