valentineHansbrough has looked wayyyy better than mcroberts as predicted. For some reason some people on here kept tryna tell me mcroberts should start over him. Said it before and I’ll say it again don’t take summer leauge too seriously. I say it every summer and every summer someone blows a players summer leauge accomplishments out of the water. I even think the pacers brass did the same thing because I remember reading that they said mcroberts is there starter. I think that had more to do with tylers health status

SupParticipantHansbrough doesn’t belong in the league. I think he would be a good football player

RUDEBOY_ParticipantYeah, i agree Hanbrough game is a little underrated..But neither him nor Hibbert are skilled or athletic enuff to be on the same frontline….They dont compliment each other very well…And McRoberts isn’t a full-time starter in this league..If they don’t make a trade for a power forward Magnum Rolle could have his chance at the spot in the future….

Mr. 19134ParticipantI like both of these players and they both bring different things to the table. But right now I think McRoberts overall game is a better fit for Jim Obriens offense because McRoberts is such a good passer and Obrien is going to run a lot of his offense thru his bigs this year.
I say start McRoberts in the beggining of the season and let Tyler bring energy and rebounding off the bench and get his legs under him fully. Then re asses the situation if McRoberts isn’t an effective starter put Tyler in, or if Tyler is playing extremely well start him. I think Tyler will eventually be the starter tho.

JNixonParticipantEither way they need to find a starting PF. Neither Hansbrough or McRoberts is a good starting PF.

Mr. 19134ParticipantWho do you suggests they go after? There arent that many quality starting big men in the league to begin with. I been saying for awhile the Pacers should make a play for Jason Thompson he’d be a perfect fit in Indiana.

The Scare Crow ReturnsParticipantStart Tyler or it looks like a waste of a pick…They better get a PF in the draft because Free Agents don’t sign with The Pacers in this new Look NBA…

llperezpacers are gonna probably suck this year at pf. I would start hansborugh personally, but in they end they both will prbably get close to the same minutes.

mj23mj23besteverParticipanti do like the idea of the energy tyler would bring off the bench and there really isnt that much of a drop off either way j thompson would be a great pick up but what do they trade that the kings would want in return

IndianaBasketballParticipantI’d start McRoberts.
He isn’t as tenacious as Hansbrough, but he brings more to the table. He’s more athletic. He can shoot the three and handle the ball a little, plus he rebounds/hustles too. He’s better suited to play alongside Hibbert than Hansbrough is.
