I love the potential and upside of Lorenzo Brown
yes indeed. been saying it
i know aran wants to drop ryan harrow out of that 14th spot and put lorenzo there (currently 15)
There has been great hype around Lorenzo at nbadraft lately. I havent seen him before but checked some videos above and I think he is really good with great size, athleticism, basketball IQ. Hopefully he'll have a nice season and get drafted in the lottery.
i started the hype around here
yea i have made the topic about him..i was negged a little and i may understand why but may not too..
he really looks good..if he wouldn't be 3yrs older Wall was in his freshman year i would say they are very similar..i think that's worth of lottery in this weak draft despite his age
talking about this draft... the lotto may not be stacked, but i think the draft is deep... and not so bad after all
Best PG in this upcoming draft class and arguably the best PG in college basketball this season. If he can extend his range on his jumper and be more reliable spotting up behind the arc he is a top 10 pick because size , athleticism , handle , IQ , quickness , and defense are all top 10 pick quality. I see a lot of posters get neg happy when you try and say Brown is better than Harrow and I don't get it because he actually is better.
I like Harrow over brown personally but think they both be in the top PGs discussion this year.
I would ask tho in your oipinions what gives Brown the edge over Harrow?

Brown over Harrow because of his size , defense , and IQ for the PG position. Brown looked to be a much more intelligent floor general even when they were both freshmen. I think all the other traits are very comparable but those 3 things I feel Brown does much better.
thanks for your response. I had a quick look at their stats as freshman and the were eerily similar- Brown avg half a steal more, and a reb and a half.
I like a tall pg too dont get me wrong but Harrow is really quick - with the ball. if his outside shooting has improved hes gonna be a real problem. Again i just point to M.Teague who I think was kinda sh1t albeit athletic but they consider his year a success.Time well tell tho.
Brown has some excellent finishers tofeed this year too, but dont you think he'll spend a gd amount of time at the 2 this year. Especially with Lewis and Purvis
time will tell
Stats don't tell the whole story. Purvis will be the 2 guard this season and then next year try and maybe take over the pg reigns. Lewis is a mop up duty guy this year and I don't see being ready to play 30mpg at PG in the ACC adequately until his JR season.

I've been a big fan of lorenzo brown, after getting a chance to watch him play in highschool. And in my opinion the young man has an extremely bright future playing the point guard position in the NBA. First and foremost, he brings alot to the table as a future pro, with very good and very deceptive athleticism, he's a very good decision maker ( he plays with poise and patience ), and seems like he has a very high basketball I.Q. He also has a very high all around skill level, combined with great ball handling and passing skills, and the size at 6'5 to be a mismatch problem when playing the point guard position. And when he's playing at his best, the game of basketball just comes very easy to him. In my opinion he's the one point guard in college who has the most potential and upside. and I'm excited to see how him and rodney purvis will compliment one another when playing together in the backcourt. And because of Lorenzo's overall talent, potential, and upside, It won't surprise me if he is the first point guard taken in this year's draft
