I believe it too. They were willing to give Dwight authority on who should be coaching and who the GM should be when they were trying to sign him long term.

It’s ashame. Yes, they can change faces at the head coach spot but at the end of the day, that roster still blows. Jameer is not the answer at PG. J-Rich is too inconsistent. Hedo is just a shadow of his former self. The bench isn’t terrific. Yet, the man who gets blamed will be SVG (who is a pretty damn good coach). I hope SVG just decides to step down volunatrily instead and go to a different team that could use his guidance.

I have lost all respect for Dwight Howard this year. He is a fantastic basketball player, but he is a immature baby.

This is ridiculous.  How can Howard and his representation allow this to happen?  Also, Magic management has to be taken to task as well by confirming with SVG that Howard wants him fired.  It is a mess down there and you have to clean house, including the GM and Coach and start over.  If you truly believe giving Howard the authority to call the shots will make him stay in Orlando, let him do it.

SVG is not the problem, it’s the team. Also, I don’t understand why Dwight wants to incorporate this type of desicion when it is unknown if he’s truly commited to the team after the 2012-2013 season.

Dwight Howard is a first class jerk.  First he gives the Magic a list of teams he wants to play for, then he flip-flops over and over whether he wants to say or go, now this.   I wouldn’t want this jackass on my team.

Do you think Nate Mcmillan might be next in line with the Magic?

Wow… I didn’t realize Dwight was hired as the new GM of the Magic all of a sudden. He negotiates his own trade with a list of teams he wants to play for and he wants to fire the coach as well.Wow, what a class act and such a great teammate, too. If he is not going to stay in Orlando with the Magic, needs to trade him in the offseason for a top 5 pick (in a very strong and deep draft) and obviously tons of other pieces as well……

Who in their right mind would want to coach the Magic? It’s a lose-lose scenario all around

To be honest, I think Dwight is causing more drama than LeBron.  Aside from "The Decision", LeBron never forced his team to trade him, he waited for the off-season when his contract stated he had that option.  He never wanted his coach fired or clearly showed disgust for his teammates.  Whereas Dwight wants SVG fired and when they’re losing, he chooses to stay out of the huddle.
