how bout that Bargnani?
I agree. At first I thought toronto drafted another Darko but Bargnani is showing signs of relevance. He is exactly what they drafted and that was a guy who would give numbers right away. Not great numbers, but never the less numbers.
i always knew bargnani was gonna be good after watchin him in the summer league and seeing him hit jumpers all day there is alotta potential here i think he is more athletic thenm dirk and will in the long run become a better player then dirk was but for now dirk has the upper hand and bargnani is creepin on a come up
Bargnani is gonna cause all kinds of matchup problems in the future. I think he'll improve his rebounding when he adds some bulk. Don't be surprised to see him average 1-1.5 blocks a game, either.
The Los Angeles Lakers have about $100 million in committed salaries going into the 2012/13 NBA Season. With luxury taxes, the team is looking at a total payroll of about $130 million.
A flurry of moves at last season’s trade deadline along with a few notable signings over the summer have the Warriors expecting to be right in the West’s playoff hunt heading into the year. Andrew Bogut and David Lee have the potential to be one of the best frontcourts in the NBA, while the backcourt of Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson continues to develop and also has the makings of one of the league’s best.
Howard went to midcourt at halftime to shake hands with referee Greg Willard, who worked the game while battling pancreatic cancer. Willard, who attended nearby Long Beach State, is in his 25th season as an NBA official.
“I just want to come in everyday and try and make everybody better. You have to take the game that much more serious,” Irving said. “Going forward, especially going into my sophomore year, I just need to slow my game down and just be more efficient.”tge4wrt523434

Perennial All-Star Dirk Nowitzki is expected to be out three to six weeks after undergoing surgery on his right knee and center Chris Kaman calf could miss the first game of the season with a calf injury. Backup Brandan Wright is recovering from an ankle injury as well so the Mavericks have only Elton Brand and rookie Bernard James as viable frontcourt options locked in when they start the season Tuesday against the Los Angeles Lakers
“I just think he’s more aggressive, obviously,” Celtics coach Doc Rivers said, as quoted by Paul Flannery of WEEI.com. “He’s comfortable in his game. He understands how to score, how he can score through our offense. The other part is he’s happy. The guys like him, he likes them, he’s comfortable here now. I think last year, even though he didn’t play, probably did a world of good. Just being around the guys and they accepted him and I think all that helped him.”

over the last 24 games, Bargnani has averaged 18.9 points and 6.3 boards per. Anyone else think moving forward Toronto has a 20/7 kinda player on their hands? Sure he'll never be a great defender/shotblocker/rebounder, but i think he's shown this season that he cannot be guarded. He's too big for SF's to guard, to quick for PF's and WAY to quick for centers who actually come out and guard him. Maybe he'll never be 25/9 like Dirk, but i'll take a 20/7 second/third option any day. What do you all think?
