CoachLinkParticipantNO would not trade Rivers because he didnt have a good season he still has alot of potential NO has a great young team all they really need is a Center and a back up big plus Monty Will loves Rivers

RUDEBOY_ParticipantSpeaking of trades…I’m hearing that Memphis have been in talks with New Orleans about 1 of their guards..Maybe Rivers or Roberts?

wrectorParticipantGreg Stiemsma is about to be 28 this season, was a 4-year collegiate player and spent 3 years in the D-League. Not someone I would consider “a young guy who has potential”.

CoachLinkParticipantSo Stiemsma doesnt have his best games ahead of him? the guy had problems with depression and to fight that and still make your dreams possible shows heart and ability to persevere… he still has potential and a great story for kids that dont get drafted.. may not be “young” age wise but young to the league

wrectorParticipantAll I’m saying is he’s met his ceiling. He’s a solid defensive rotational big and that’s what he will remain.

Ny2daDeathOFmeParticipantto say he doesnt have room to grow is wild. Look at copeland for example, he got better as the season came along and he’s 28. I see copeland tighting up his handles and D this up coming year for the pacers just like i see greg developing a actual post game for n.o eventually.

wrectorParticipantCopeland didn’t get better, he just saw more minutes so he was able to show off his game and score more. If your expecting Greg Stiemsma to develop a post game, I wouldn’t suggest holding your breath.

SliderParticipantPlus the Rockets are smart enough not to take on garbage contracts! Okafor has one of the worse contracts in all of sports today!

sportzryanParticipantBeing a huge wizards fan I want Asik, But With the big contracts we have of okafor, ariza, nene. And thomas Robinson being gone I’d like it to go like this:
Ariza, Booker or Singleton (maybe a 1st round pick, not sure of the value on picks?)
x
AsikWith us drafting Otto Porter, we have way too many Fs, several of whom SUCK (vesely, singleton) and Ariza with the huge contract. And Webster. Ariza is still a good player and he’s familiar with the rockets, and knows his time is limited here with us drafting Otto.. so it would be a dream to get Asik and get rid of Ariza’s contract while keeping Okafor for defense and size off the bench, considering Nene get’s hurt often.
