Last time he had this, it sidelined him for 4 months. Is he out for the year? Does Hawks still make playoffs?
We don’t have any trade pieces, are there any FA bigs you can think of?

This team could have defintely gone past the first round in the playoffs.
Terrible news for Hawk fans. I’ve never personally met a Hawk fan before, but I’m sure all 200-400 of them are hurting right now.

I think the Eastern is so awful this year they’re probably going to make the playoffs even without Horford, unless at least two of the underachieving teams (Cleveland, Knicks, Brooklyn) turn the corner. With Horford they were clearly the third best team in the conference, although a weak third. Now they’re still a playoff team imho, too many bad teams in the eastern, and they are really well coached.

Hate this since I am an actually Hawks since because I live near Atlanta and always thought Horford was so underrated. Nets fans are probably happy since they might end up with a lottery pick now since Atlanta only has the option to swap 1st round picks. Obivously the Hawks will get the best pick, but the Nets will get a better one now as well.
