    is this even legal? or is it considered traveling, ive seen it done only 2 times, once on espn u when austin rivers was playing and he knocked it in and the refs didnt call anything anything. and one time by eric devondorf in one of his highlight vids when he played for england or something

    Do you mean when a guy hop-steps backwards, then shoots a three? If yes, then it’s legal. It’s a pretty advanced move, but it’s legal.

    isn’t a backwards a hop-step, a step-back…lol. If that is the case Allen Iverson did that all the time.

    no like a hop step forward and then a 3, kind of like lebron with his little crab dribble and lays it up. but this is like you jump forward and then shoot the three

    i no there is no point in it but austin rivers did it because of the shot clock violation and he was far away and devondorf was getting thru two defenders but i just didnt know i thought it was illegal
