I was wondering when a team would sign this guy. The thunder signed him to a three year deal the first year is garaunteed with the team having second and third year options. Hollis shoots well and will likely complete for minutes at the backup sf position.

Wow Sam Presti must have seen something he really liked in Hollis Thompson. I don’t know if he’ll get a chance to really play, but he could learn a lot in such a great organization.

 he is a player I was suprised didn’t get a late 2nd round flier. He is basically a poormans Harrison Barnes, same skills: shooting big, can play either wing, but didn’t get the same hype because the G-Town system and was a Jr.

Great fit on a team that ad no backup at SF last year, Thabo and mainly Harden played the backup minutes there.

PJ3 has been playing mainly PF in Sumer League so maybe they see him more there behind Serge, so Hayward is the only real SF besides Durant.

 OKC does it again.  This guy will be a steal for them.  To say he shoots it well is an understatement, he can really stroke it from deep and under pressure too.  To say he is a poor man’s Harrison Barnes is a fair statement because he is tall, long, and athletic enough to get his shot off with no problem whatsoever.

 I’ve metioned it before but I believe Hollis will carve out a Dorrell Wright type role in the NBA. A guy 6-7" who can stroke it from 3 and plays solid defense will have a spot in the league.
