Memphis MadnessParticipantGame 2 is a must win for the Heat. LeBron’s legacy is on the line too. He needs a title this year.

BenchWarmerParticipantTied 22 all after the first.
Chris Bosh is actually a good player when he isnt trying to be Ray Allen.
Danny Green has the best job in the world. Launch 3s and play defense.
Pops system really keeps things simple for players so they know their role. Kindof the opposite of spolstra using players all over it seems.0 - Posted on: Sun, 06/09/2013 - 2:47pm #793900

GottaBeTheShoesParticipantDanny Green and Kawhi are playing great. Love seeing 2 young players steppin it up in the finals. Gary Neal has also stepped up well.
Also, Lebron keeps passing up easy runners and isn’t being aggressive at all, it’s rather sad looking.. He looks for the pass way way too often.

llperezHaven’t been impressed with Parker this first half. He had Duncan with great position down low with his man sealed and looked him off so Duncan came up to set the screen and nothing came of it, Parker should have dumped it in to him to begin with. He has on numerous other occassios held his dribble too long and missed the open man. He had one drive where I felt he was way too soft and flung up a wild shot that didn’t draw iron when I felt he could have held his balance better and gotten a better shot up.
As for the heat, I’m not trying to sound negative, but they HAVE to win this game and even though they have a 5 point lead, if this is what they have, I don’t see them winning this series. They just don’t look dominant like they did last season.

IndianaBasketballParticipantI thought the same about Tony Parker in the first half. He had Danny Green wide open a couple of times too and didn’t pass him the ball.

IndianaBasketballParticipantYea, defensively… The Spurs just aren’t the same type of team. They don’t run teams off of the three-point line like the Pacers.
But offensively, the Spurs are so much better than the Pacers.

llperezManu has looked terrible. He gets a good amount of credit for being a change of pace player who accepts a lesser role, but he also needs to take some heat for disappearing. He’s not supposed to be a bench player who you hope helps, he’s a potential hall of famer who should be expected to deliver and called out when he doesn’t.

GrandmamaParticipantCouple things. First, it seems like the Spurs have been rushing things all night on offense. They really haven’t had any rhythm all night. Some of it has been the Heat’s defense, but for the most part the Spurs haven’t been under control on offense. Second, with Danny Green lighting it up from downtown, why not try to get him more looks on a consistent basis? If I’m a coach and I have a player who is lighting it up like Green, I’m running a lot of plays for him until he cools off.

IndianaBasketballParticipantI don’t want it to sound like I’m not giving the Heat credit, but the Spurs just flat out are playing like sh*t.
Tony Parker has been ball hogging/overdribbling. They’ve executed poorly. Played with no intensity on defense.
They’ve played like they’re already satisfied with getting a win in Miami.

jaysmith1987ParticipantFinally the heat turn on the switch and play how they should. This team is as good as any in the history of basketball they just don’t have a coach that demands 100 percent all the time the heat win when wade and lebron say fuck it were not gonna get embarrassed like against the mavs.

Wavy BagelsParticipantThat block on Splitter was downright disgusting. The Spurs couldn’t get it going on the offensive end AND were turning the ball over. Ginobili’s ballhandling tonight was very shaky and Timmy had some good looks in the bank area, but couldn’t sink them in.
