MagikKnickParticipantwait…why is Terrico White ‘just not good enough to play in the league?’

frijole ghostParticipantbiggest talent is “jumping”…not shooting, ballhandling, passing, defense…if you look inside his numbers, he does not do anything well enough to make it in the league

stlhoopsinsiderParticipantWhy would they take a big in this draft when they already have a great stable of young bigs in Hawes, Thompson, and Landry upfront. And Greene, and the Israeli who kid are also productive and promising young forwards. Makes no sense. With them trading away Kevin Martin and with Tyreke holding down the pg position, their obvious and glaring hole is a scoring sg, preferrably one who could shoot to compliment Evans’ unmatched slashing ability.

frijole ghostParticipantnone of their bigs rebound or block shots or play defense…they are not worried about their backcourt and will go big, unless they take wes johnson, but i don’t really think so

OhCanada-ParticipantBut Monroe doesnt play defense well wither..and Terrico White…wats your reasoning on him not being at a NBA level

frijole ghostParticipantbut he won’t be there…monroe is the BPA, unless you buy into wes johnson…monroe is not a defensive stalwart, but he does all of his work inside and is an ace passer for a big man…their current center hawes is a high post guy who is a terrible rebounder and not the answer…i don’t love monroe, don’t get me wrong, but i think he’s the pick

frijole ghostParticipanthe was not a productive college player, he didn’t do too well at the combine…maybe someone likes him, but i would not give him a guaranteed contract…thanks for calling me a fool – we’ll see right?

OhCanada-ParticipantA mock draft isnt based on your opinion, or how you would select each player. It is based on what you predict will happen and how teams will select.

frijole ghostParticipanti’m predicting what i think teams will do…i don’t really care for a lot of these players in the first round, and i really like some dudes in the second round…vamos a ver!

jerb2011Participantthey need a defensive big man. Where is he?
0- Posted on: Sun, 06/13/2010 - 4:52am #331436
frijole ghostParticipantbecause i don’t see a real defensive big man where they are drafting…i like brackins for them because he fills a role – they don’t have a shooting 4 man…presti is a smart dude
