After a great opeing game and performance, its so interesting as to what Anthony Davis may become.

After watching the game, it makes me wonder what Anthony Davis may become in his prime, I feel like the NBA sky may have reach new limits. I never felt this way watching a bigmen move and run. New type of NBA player may have just be found, a athletic big with no real weakness and has the ability to block shots and makes jump shots plus the mobility of a guard.

With his ability to move so smoothly at such height and young age, cant wait to see his body mature and performs at 25-28 years old.  Please Basketball God allow him to have a major injury-free career!

I was thinking, Davis doesnt seem like he will ever leave NO, something must be done to the roster for NO to challange for the West.  Im guessing they keep Holiday to pair with Davis. Who would come join forces for a championship hunt?

Please share your opinion and share why you think so,

The Pelicans are set with Anthony Davis, Ryan Anderson and Omer Asik. Other than those three, I’m not so sure about the roster.

The need a legit starting caliber small forward who can make shots and defend. Darius Miller doesn’t look like he’s going to be that guy. Luke Babbitt? No. John Salmons? Hell no. They need a Luol Deng/Trevor Ariza type of player.

Then they need to figure out what they’re doing at guard. Eric Gordon seems to be the odd man out as soon as they can trade him, but the real problem in my opinion is Tyreke Evans and Jrue Holiday. Both are two ball dominant shoot first guards. Evans is a break neck ball handler, strong driver/finisher and stat sheet filler, but he’s a BLACK HOLE. He’s still the same player he was his rookie year with the Kings. He can’t shoot/space the floor or play without the ball. At least Jrue Holiday can shoot and play off of the ball a little. Evans also has tunnel vision. In order for him to be effective, they basically have to let him dominate the ball and play point guard, which puts a strain on the offense and stops ball movement. They need to trade one of these guards for a small forward.

Other than that, just need to keep adding quality role players to the bench.

I really think the pressure is rising on Monty Williams and Dell Demps.

Long-term, ANTHONY DAVIS should be the Lakers’ Plan A.

    I wouldn’t even have a Plan B.

He COULD reach my UPSIDE target potential of a 6’10 Kareem.
